MINI Korea launched the online limited edition model ‘MINI Convertible Seaside Edition’ on April 5 at 3 PM through the MINI Online Shop.

Based on the MINI Convertible Cooper S, the MINI Convertible Seaside Edition is the final special edition celebrating the 30th anniversary of the MINI Convertible, encapsulating the joy and freedom of open-air driving that has been pursued over the past 30 years.

The exterior colors of the MINI Convertible Seaside Edition are inspired by the ocean and sandy beaches, featuring Caribbean Aqua, which highlights the sporty character of open-top driving, or the newly unveiled Nanuq White, providing a unique feeling as if driving on the beach.

This edition incorporates various elements marking its limited edition status throughout the interior and exterior. The front end of the vehicle, side scuttles, wheel caps, floor mats, and key caps prominently display an icon symbolizing the number ‘30,’ representing 30 years of the MINI Convertible, particularly with the uniquely crafted key cap inspired by a shell that expresses individual character.

Additionally, the car is equipped with 18-inch Pulse Spoke two-tone alloy wheels, designed to resemble spreading waves, while sporty orange ‘Seaside’ lettering is featured on the side scuttles and at the rear. The headlights and rear light borders, along with the dual stripe running along the side, are elegantly finished in white, lending a clean and modern charm.

The interior trim is finished in piano black, while MINI YOURS Lounge leather seats in Carbon Black emphasize the contrast with the exterior.

Special edition lettering is also inscribed on the Nappa leather steering wheel, door sills, and trunk, enhancing the rarity of this limited model; the second-row seats feature a Union Jack badge to highlight the brand’s unique sentiment.

Under the hood, the car is equipped with a MINI TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder gasoline engine producing 192 horsepower and a maximum torque of 28.6 kg·m, paired with a 7-speed Steptronic dual-clutch transmission, enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.1 seconds.

Furthermore, advanced driver assistance features, including front collision warning, lane departure warning, cruise control, head-up display, and parking assistant, have been integrated. Standard comfort features include heated steering wheel, LED headlights, an 8.8-inch central display, Harman Kardon audio system, Apple CarPlay, wireless charging and comfort access for a comfortable and safe driving experience.

The MINI Convertible Seaside Edition will be limited to 99 units in South Korea, with 29 units in Caribbean Aqua and 70 units in Nanuq White, priced at 52.3 million won (excluding value-added tax, including individual consumption tax of 3.5%).
