Jeep is starting pre-orders for the ‘Wrangler,’ which has undergone a facelift six years after its debut in 2017.

The ‘All-New 2024 Jeep Wrangler’ has established itself as a timeless icon, maintaining consistent popularity with enthusiasts since its first generation was released in 1986, with over 5 million units sold worldwide. The current fifth-generation Wrangler first appeared at the ‘2017 LA Auto Show’ and has now emerged renewed after its six-year facelift. The all-new Wrangler, unveiled at the ‘2023 New York Auto Show,’ features an exterior design that highlights its distinctive identity, an interior equipped with advanced technology and comfort features, and enhanced off-road performance along with driving safety systems.

The exterior of the all-new Wrangler carries forward its unparalleled off-road DNA while presenting a new generation design direction. The seven-slot grille has been redesigned to be more compact, and the LED headlights feature surrounding ring lights that emphasize the iconic circular headlamp design associated with the Wrangler. This model also introduces a windshield-integrated stealth antenna for the first time, protecting the antenna from branches and other obstacles during off-road driving.

To provide customers with a broader range of options, choices for wheels, tops, and exterior colors have been diversified. Four wheel designs ranging from 17 to 18 inches are offered as standard options, and for an open-air experience, options include a black or body-colored hardtop and the Sky One-Touch Power Top. Exterior colors now include the new Anvil color, along with existing colors such as Earl, High Velocity, and Sarge Green from previous limited editions, totaling ten colors to choose from (available options vary by trim).

The interior has been enhanced with the latest technologies to enhance its appeal. It features the largest 12.3-inch touchscreen ever seen in a Wrangler, accompanied by new hardware with processors that enable the Uconnect 5 system to operate up to five times faster than before. Additionally, TMAP navigation is integrated to further improve driving convenience.

The driving assistance systems and off-road capabilities have been significantly improved. More than 65 safety and security features support the driver, including adaptive cruise control (ACC) and Select-Terrain. Additionally, the Dana 44 HD full-floating rear axle and a 4:1 ratio Rock-Trac part-time transfer case have been applied to deliver even stronger off-road performance.

The powertrain combines a 2.0-liter gasoline turbo engine with an 8-speed automatic transmission and will be released in three trims. The ‘Sport,’ launching alongside the all-new Wrangler, is the newly introduced entry trim, while the ‘Rubicon’ focuses on extreme off-road driving as the top off-road trim, and the ‘Sahara’ is an urban model that has renamed one of the existing trims, Overland.

The official sale prices for the all-new Wrangler are expected to be around 60 million KRW for the Sport, with the Rubicon two-door hardtop and four-door hardtop, as well as the Sahara four-door hardtop and four-door power top priced around 70 million KRW, and the Rubicon four-door power top anticipated to be priced around 80 million KRW. Additionally, Jeep is offering special benefits for pre-order customers of the all-new Wrangler, including a five-year or 130,000 km extended warranty (whichever comes first) or an auto power side step installation.

Jake Aumann, CEO of Stellantis Korea, stated, “The all-new Wrangler is a model that will continue the unique history of the authentic off-roading Wrangler with its upgraded exterior design and driving performance. We hope many customers in the domestic market, where there’s high demand for iconic design and outdoor lifestyles, will experience the beginning of free adventures with the Wrangler and fall in love with the Jeep brand.”
