BMW Korea has launched the new gasoline model of the 2024 New 7 Series, the New 740i xDrive, along with the plug-in hybrid model, the New 750e xDrive.

The 7th generation BMW New 7 Series, which offers a new dimension of mobility experience based on overwhelming presence and luxurious aesthetics, as well as a differentiated digital experience, has been revamped for the 2024 model year with the active reflection of consumer preferences.

Firstly, BMW Korea introduces the New 740i xDrive, the first all-wheel drive model in the New 7 Series inline 6-cylinder gasoline variant. The base ‘New 740i xDrive M Sport’ trim comes standard with luxury features like Executive Lounge Seats and the BMW Theatre Screen, providing the best travel experience for rear seat passengers. The ‘New 740i xDrive M Sport Limited’ trim excludes these two specifications and offers a more economical option for customers wishing to enjoy the unique driving pleasure of BMW.

The New 740i xDrive model is equipped with a BMW TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder gasoline engine featuring 48-volt mild hybrid technology and an 8-speed Steptronic Sports transmission. It delivers a combined maximum output of 381 horsepower and peak torque of 55.1 kg·m, and can accelerate from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds, thanks to the intelligent all-wheel drive system BMW xDrive.

For the 2024 model year, the New 750e xDrive has been enhanced with top-tier specifications that maximize luxury, including the ‘Executive Drive Pro’ chassis technology for superior ride comfort, agility, and steering precision; the ‘Panorama Glass Roof Sky Lounge’ that creates a luxurious indoor atmosphere with lighting effects; and ‘Comfort Glazing’ double glazing, which reduces noise intrusion for a pleasant interior environment.

The BMW TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder gasoline engine in the New 750e xDrive combines with a 197-horsepower electric motor to achieve a total system output of 489 horsepower. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds and can travel up to 60 km in electric mode on a single charge, allowing for electric driving in daily commutes and a relaxed long-distance drive based on high output.

The prices are as follows: the New 740i xDrive M Sport Limited is KRW 159.9 million, the New 740i xDrive M Sport is KRW 174.9 million, the New 750e xDrive Design Pure Excellence is KRW 199.8 million, and the New 750e xDrive M Sport is KRW 228 million.
