Aston Martin has unveiled an emotional brand film featuring its luxury SUV, the DBX707, alongside British intellectual actress Felicity Jones.
Filmed amid the breathtaking scenery of Dartmoor National Park in the UK, the film captures the Aston Martin Racing Green DBX707 roaring across the horizon as Felicity Jones delivers a powerful monologue about ‘Power – strength and authority.’ The Academy Award-nominated actress, a graduate of the University of Oxford’s English department, conveys a deeply personal and impactful social message through metaphor and analogy, discussing the power to start something, the power to change, and the power to stop.

The DBX707, which began its delivery to domestic customers this month, boasts an impressive maximum speed of 310 km/h, peak power of 707 horsepower, a maximum torque of 900 Nm, and a powerful acceleration performance (0-100 km/h) in just 3.3 seconds. The DBX707, the strongest model in its segment symbolizing both peak performance and a luxury lifestyle, offers bespoke services to enhance its luxury attributes and personalized details.

The DBX707 adopts a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine with ball-bearing turbochargers and a custom engine calibration, delivering enhanced output and torque. The 9-speed wet-clutch automatic transmission, which shifts faster and responds instantly, enhances the driver’s vehicle control and responsiveness, providing a greater driving integration. The electronic rear differential (e-diff) controls the increased maximum torque of 900 Nm.
While maintaining the efficiency and sophistication offered by the 9-speed automatic transmission, acceleration and gear response at lower gears have been optimized for an exhilarating sports driving experience. The automatic torque distribution ensures agile cornering and dynamic performance that a true sports car can provide through the fine-tuning of the e-diff.
