BMW Korea announces the launch of the new 7 Series high-performance pure electric model, the new i7 M70 xDrive, along with the rear-wheel-drive pure electric model, the new i7 eDrive50.

The new i7 M70 xDrive is the first pure electric M model in the 7 Series lineup. The unique atmosphere that showcases performance at its best, coupled with the M-specific design elements applied throughout, clearly differentiate the exterior design of the BMW new i7 M70 xDrive from other new 7 Series models. The front design reinterprets BMW’s signature twin headlights and radiator grille. M side mirrors and M side skirts enhance the profile, while a dedicated rear apron with a diffuser enhances the car’s performance-oriented characteristics.

Moreover, the interior features numerous M-specific specifications to emphasize the robust and sporty appeal of the BMW new i7 M70 xDrive. This includes illuminated M door sills, BMW Individual Merino leather, an M leather steering wheel, a dedicated M BMW Curved Display, and an M driver footrest.

The BMW new i7 M70 xDrive is equipped with M-specific suspension technology that optimizes driving performance and comfort. All control systems, including electric all-wheel drive, steering, shock absorbers, and driving dynamics systems, are set up specifically for M, combining M’s intrinsic agility and responsiveness with unparalleled long-distance ride comfort.

The Executive Drive Pro suspension package, which includes integral active steering, active roll stabilizers, and active roll comfort, is also standard along with 21-inch M alloy wheels.

The new i7 M70 xDrive offers a single trim, packed with premium amenities that transform the interior into a lounge-like space, including a 31.3-inch BMW theater screen, a panoramic glass roof sky lounge, executive lounge seating, and an executive lounge rear console.

The price of the new i7 M70 xDrive is 231.8 million KRW. (Including VAT, price with a 5.0% individual consumption tax)

Additionally, the new eDrive50, which is the first rear-wheel-drive model in the i7 lineup, is being launched. It delivers a maximum output of 455 horsepower, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds. The driving range is an impressive 455 km on a single charge, showcasing the longest range in the i7 lineup.

The BMW new i7 eDrive50 will be available in two trims. The ‘new i7 eDrive50 M Sport’ trim comes standard with luxury features such as executive lounge seats and a BMW theater screen, providing the ultimate travel experience for rear-seat passengers.

The ‘new i7 eDrive50 M Sport Limited’ trim offers a more reasonable choice for customers wanting to enjoy BMW’s unique driving pleasure, excluding some rear seat options. Both the standard and limited trims come with the ‘Comfort Glazing’ option to reduce noise entering the cabin, creating a more comfortable interior environment.
