From the end of September, TMAP will provide real-time parking information for 1,200 parking lots in Gyeonggi Province.
TMAP Mobility and Gyeonggi Province announced on the 23rd that they have signed a ‘Joint Use of Traffic Data and Integration of Real-Time Parking Information Data’ memorandum of understanding.
Through this agreement, TMAP Mobility will offer real-time information about public parking lots shared by Gyeonggi Province. The public parking lots displaying real-time parking information are located across 18 cities and counties, including Suwon, Goyang, Anyang, Siheung, Uijeongbu, Gwangmyeong, Gunpo, Yeoju, Ansan, Gwacheon, Gwangju, Namyangju, Hwaseong, Paju, Bucheon, Pyeongtaek, Uiwang, and Icheon.
With the addition of public parking lot information from Gyeonggi Province’s 18 cities and counties, TMAP users will now be able to check parking information and services for approximately 1,200 parking lots and 160,000 parking spaces.
A representative from TMAP Mobility emphasized, “As a national mobility platform used by about 14.9 million people monthly, we will strive to enhance user experience in various mobility services, including improved parking convenience.”
Meanwhile, TMAP currently provides parking information and services for about 2,500 parking lots and 400,000 spaces in the metropolitan area, including Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon.
