This year, the domestic car sales in the first half reached 759,605 units, marking an 11.9% increase compared to 668,866 units in the same period last year. Renault alone is struggling without any new car launches.

Hyundai sold 327,311 units, a rise of 18.3% from 267,237 units last year. The Grandeur saw sales of 62,970 units, significantly up by 87% from 33,672 units last year. The Porter recorded 53,351 units, climbing 27.5% from the previous year’s 41,848 units. The Avante also showed strong performance with 36,250 units sold, a leap of 31.2% from last year’s 27,636 units.

Genesis showed modest growth with sales of 69,239 units, up by 3.1% from 67,159 units in the same period last year. The G80 saw sales of 27,121 units, an increase of 3.9%, while the GV70 sold 16,003 units, which reflects a 13% rise. The GV80 recorded 14,565 units, a 35.5% increase compared to 10,750 units from the previous year.

Kia’s sales totaled 292,832 units, up 11.5% from the previous year’s 262,532 units. The Carnival recorded 39,350 units, a significant increase of 43% from 27,502 units last year, showing a strong performance even before the new model launch at the end of the year. The Sorento, scheduled for a model change, also performed well with sales of 36,558 units, a 15% increase from the 31,777 units sold last year. The Sportage’s sales reached 36,084 units, a 34% leap from the previous year’s 26,766 units.

KG Mobility’s sales reached 38,969 units, reflecting a 38% increase from 28,177 units the previous year. The Torres led the sales with 25,775 units sold. However, the Rexton Sport recorded a significant drop with 7,800 units sold, down 46.8%, and the Tivoli saw sales fall to 2,867 units, down 63%.

GM managed to sell 18,984 units, which is an increase of 8.2% compared to 17,551 units from last year. The Trax Crossover has solidified its position as a central model for GM, having sold 10,310 units in just three months since its customer delivery in April. However, the Trailblazer’s sales dropped to 4,267 units, down 42.9% from last year’s 7,472 units. The Colorado saw a significant decline with 841 units sold, a decrease of 49.6% from last year’s 1,667 units.

Renault sold 12,270 units, reflecting a drastic drop of 53% compared to 26,230 units last year. The QM6’s sales reached 5,973 units, down 57%, while the XM3 recorded 4,989 units, reflecting a 48.1% decrease, and the SM6 saw 1,246 units sold, down 29.8%.
