Porsche leads the way with the Cayenne, while the Panamera and Taycan boost its standing. As of now, Porsche has exceeded 4,000 units sold in the first third of the year. Achieving an annual sales target of 10,000 units seems to be just a matter of time.

The Korea Automobile Importers & Distributors Association reported that Porsche’s sales in April reached 1,146 units, marking a 2.6% increase from the previous month’s 1,117 units. The year-to-date sales stand at 4,112 units, reflecting a 23.7% increase over the 3,323 units sold in the same period last year.

Consistently selling over 1,000 units each month this year, Porsche Korea is projected to comfortably surpass the annual sales of 10,000 units since the establishment of the local branch. The fact that this high-priced luxury brand, with an average price of over 150 million won per unit, has already surpassed 4,000 units sold in just the first third of the year draws envious attention from the industry. During the same timeframe, Porsche outsold Mercedes-Benz’s S-Class (3,831 units), showcasing its dominance in the domestic market.

The model driving Porsche’s sales is the Cayenne (including the Coupe), with a total of 2,127 units sold, confirming the axiom that “SUVs do not fail.”

Following the Cayenne, the Panamera (648 units), Taycan (401 units), 911 (400 units), Macan (369 units), and 718 (167 units) sold without skewing towards any specific model, demonstrating remarkable sales across the entire lineup.
