‘Hyundai Grandeur Hybrid’

Sales volume has stagnated, and the market is at a standstill. This is the domestic car market for May.

In May, domestic car sales reached 116,677 units, showing a slight 2% decrease from 119,104 units in the previous month. While KG Mobility and Renault saw significant increases in sales compared to last month, Genesis and Kia experienced declines, and Hyundai and GM remained stable.

Hyundai sold 52,064 units, marking a slight increase of 0.2% compared to 51,949 units in the previous month. The Porter saw an increase to 6,989 units, up 8.5% from 6,443 units in the last month. The Grandeur sold 6,884 units, which is a 2.8% decrease from 7,085 units previously. The Sonata recorded sales of 5,820 units, showing a 24% rise from 4,695 units last month.

Genesis saw a decline in sales to 10,136 units, down 14% from 11,784 units in the previous month. The G80 sold 3,647 units, which is a decline of 26.6% from 4,966 units last month. The GV80 recorded 3,313 units, a drop of 18.9% from 4,084 units previously. However, the GV70 saw an increase to 2,066 units, up 24% from 1,666 units last month.

‘Kia Sorento’

Kia reported sales of 46,235 units, which is a slight decrease of 2.9% from 47,631 units last month. The Sorento sold 7,487 units, a 4.8% decline from the previous month’s 7,865 units. The Carnival showed an increase in sales to 7,211 units, up 4.8% from 6,879 units previously. However, the Sportage dropped to 6,644 units, down 7.5% from 7,179 units in the last month.

KG Mobility sold 4,001 units, marking a 9.2% increase compared to 3,663 units from the previous month. The Torres recorded sales of 1,552 units, showing an impressive increase of 35.2% from the previous month’s 1,148 units. The Rexton Sports sold 974 units, up 3.3% from 943 units last month. Conversely, the Torres EVX saw a decrease in sales to 688 units, down 10.3% from 767 units previously.

‘KG Torres’

General Motors recorded sales of 2,340 units, marking a slight increase of 1.9% from 2,297 units last month. The Trailblazer saw sales of 1,841 units, up 6% from 1,737 units previously. The Trax managed to record 368 units sold, which is a decrease of 19.8% from 459 units last month. The Traverse jumped to 94 units sold, a massive increase of 84.3% from 51 units in the previous month.

Renault recorded 1,901 unit sales, showing a 6.8% increase compared to 1,780 units the previous month. The Arkana sold 945 units, a small decline of 1.8% from 962 units last month. The QM6 recorded 760 units, up 4% from the previous month’s 731 units. Lastly, the Master, which is limited to 1,000 units, saw sales of 151 units.
