Maserati unveiled the Ghibli 334 Ultima and Levante V8 Ultima at the 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed on the 13th (local time), a celebration of motorsports and automotive culture.

This year, Maserati commemorates the last chapter of its iconic V8 engine-driven grand tourer, which has sold over 100,000 units since the launch of the Maserati 5000 GT in 1959.

As production of the legendary 572-horsepower twin-turbo V8 engine is set to end soon, these models will become collectibles in the next few months. Accordingly, the global debut of the two special editions is taking place at the sacred site of Goodwood. The highlights are the Ghibli 334 Ultima (with 334 representing the top speed in kilometers per hour, currently the fastest internal combustion sedan in the world) and the Levante V8 Ultima. These two vehicles will captivate festival attendees at the First Glance Paddock, with the Ghibli 334 Ultima also participating in the hill climb event.

Additionally, the GranTurismo Trofeo, equipped with a 542-horsepower V6 Nettuno engine, will participate in the Goodwood hill climb. The key innovation of this engine is the revolutionary pre-chamber combustion system with twin spark plugs derived from Formula 1.

Meanwhile, Maserati will showcase the GranTurismo One-Off Prisma in its area.

This model boasts past glory while showcasing the brand’s commitment to the future. Visitors can experience Maserati’s first pure electric vehicle up close through the GranTurismo Folgore on display together.

The new pure electric flagship model features cutting-edge technology derived from Formula E, equipped with an 800-volt battery system. This technology enables the sleek grand tourer four-seat coupe to travel up to 280 miles (450 km) on a single charge, with a mere 5-minute charge allowing for an additional 60 miles (100 km). Additionally, the three powerful 300 kW permanent magnet motors (one in the front, two in the rear) ensure top performance. These motors deliver over 1,200 horsepower and transmit more than 750 horsepower and 1,350 Nm of torque to the wheels.

The iconic lineage of the GranTurismo is derived from the world’s first grand tourer, the Maserati A6 1500 GT. At its core is a unique style, where innovative technology and performance achieve perfect harmony—all captured in the traditional elegant design of Italy.

At the Electric Avenue of the Goodwood Speed Festival, Maserati’s second pure electric model, the Grecale Folgore, will be on display. This model is the industry’s first mid-size luxury SUV, equipped with a 105 kWh battery using 400-volt technology, delivering a driving range of 310 miles (500 km*). With its elegant design and robust performance, the Grecale Folgore is set to make everyday life feel extraordinary.

The Folgore offers Maserati’s trademark power and luxury, providing 820 Nm of torque and over 500 horsepower.

To conclude Maserati’s participation in the event, another highlight will be the MC20 Cielo. After debuting at this festival last year with David Beckham in the UK, it makes a return in the striking Rosso Vincente color for another iconic hill climb.

With eye-catching design, exceptional power-to-weight ratio, carbon fiber body, a retractable smart glass roof, and powered by the 621-horsepower V6 Nettuno engine derived from F1, this car is expected to capture everyone’s attention during the four-day event.
