Kolon Motors, the official dealer of BMW Group Korea, has newly opened the BMW·MINI Gangneung showroom in Gangwon Province.

The BMW·MINI Gangneung showroom, located in Gyo-dong, Gangneung City, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province, is built on a 3-story building with a total floor area of 2,408m2, making it the largest multi-brand showroom in the Gangwon area.

This showroom is specialized in showcasing electric models such as plug-in hybrids (PHEV) and battery electric vehicles (BEV), as well as luxury class models like the 7 Series, 8 Series, X7, and XM, allowing customers to explore and experience a wide range of BMW and MINI’s electrified and luxury class vehicles in one place.

Additionally, the showroom features an ample parking space and dedicated private consultation areas for VIP customers, enhancing convenience for visitors. The innovative ‘Retail.NEXT’ concept introduced by the BMW Group allows customers to visit without any pressure, enjoying a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, akin to being in an art gallery, to interact with the vehicles.

Furthermore, the showroom offers unique test drive courses to experience the diverse charms of various vehicle models. To celebrate the opening, from mid-August until the end of the year, customers who purchase BMW and MINI electric vehicles through Kolon Motors will receive complimentary charging services.

The BMW·MINI Gangneung showroom is expected to serve as a convenient hub for customers from nearby cities such as Sokcho, Yangyang, Donghae, and Samcheok, addressing demand in the Yeongdong region located beyond the Taebaek Mountains.

Meanwhile, Kolon Motors plans to establish a service center at the same location within August, creating a comprehensive hub that encompasses both the BMW·MINI showroom and the service center, thereby enhancing the service infrastructure in the Yeongdong region.
