Kia is planning to conduct the ‘EV Sale Festa’, which will apply discount benefits to certain electric vehicle models to expand the adoption of electric vehicles.

This EV Sale Festa is being held in line with the government’s policy to increase electric vehicle subsidies until the end of this year.

For the EV6, a manufacturer discount of 3.2 million won and an additional government subsidy of 640,000 won will provide a total discount benefit of 3.84 million won.

The Niro EV and Niro Plus will receive a manufacturer discount of 1.2 million won and an additional government subsidy of 240,000 won, totaling a discount of 1.44 million won.

Furthermore, when adding monthly inventory discounts, the maximum discount benefits can reach ▲4.84 million won for the EV6, ▲3.44 million won for the Niro EV, and ▲4.44 million won for the Niro Plus.

Additionally, Kia operates a dedicated electric vehicle purchase program called ‘E-Life Support’ installment service to alleviate the burden of vehicle purchases.

Kia provides low-interest benefits for up to 60 months across its entire lineup of electric vehicles. Including EV subsidies and with a down payment of over 50%, special rates of ▲3.0% for 36 months, ▲3.5% for 48 months, and ▲4.0% for 60 months can be applied. (Note: This is applicable when using the Hyundai M-series card for down payment.)

Kia is also set to offer purchasing benefits for the Ray EV and EV9 electric vehicles.

Customers purchasing the EV9 will receive members points that can cover charging fees for one year (approximately 1 million won).

For the Ray EV, individual and self-employed customers will receive a 150,000 won discount on the vehicle price and a 150,000 won cashback, supporting six months of charging fees (worth about 300,000 won). (Note: This is applicable for payments over 5 million won using the Kia members exclusive card and when utilizing Save Auto.)

Hyundai Motor Group is also expanding ultra-fast charging infrastructure, which is a core business for building the domestic electric vehicle ecosystem, through its ultra-fast charging stations called ‘E-pit’.

The E-pit charging stations are built to enhance the convenience of electric vehicle charging for customers, contributing to the activation of electric vehicle adoption in the country. They feature ultra-fast charging equipment rated at 350kW, which is among the highest in the country based on output.

As of the 25th (Monday), Hyundai Motor Group operates a total of 214 charging stations located in urban and highway areas, including Seoul Station, Hwaseong Rest Area on the West Coast Highway, Euljiro Center One, and the National Science Museum.
