On the 30th, KG Mobility announced that they will provide the Actyon as a prize for the winner of the ’13th KG Ladies Open’ and will support four vehicles as hole-in-one prizes.
This year’s ‘KG Ladies Open’, now in its 13th year, will run from today to September 1st at the Suning Point Country Club in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, featuring a competitive tournament with 120 players competing in a 54-hole stroke play format.
At this competition, KGM will award four vehicles as prizes to the first player to achieve a hole-in-one on each par-3 hole: the Tivoli (2nd hole), Rexton Sports Khan (5th hole), Torres (12th hole), and Rexton (16th hole). The winner of the tournament will receive a prize of 144 million won as well as the newly launched Actyon.
The prize vehicle, the Actyon, is a stylish and sophisticated urban SUV that offers excellent space utilization, perfectly meeting the needs for both daily life and leisure activities. It comes equipped with high-end convenience and safety features, ensuring competitive marketability. The Actyon is creating a sensation in the sluggish automotive market with over 58,000 pre-orders and 13,000 official contracts.
Additionally, KGM will showcase the Actyon and other models throughout the tournament venue, including the clubhouse and gallery plaza, where spectators can receive detailed descriptions of the displayed vehicles. The Tivoli, Rexton Sports Khan, Torres, and Rexton, which are offered as hole-in-one prizes, will also be displayed near their respective par-3 holes.
A KGM representative stated, “The Actyon is an ideal model that provides ample luggage space, comfortably accommodating four golf bags and four Boston bags, making it perfect for diverse lifestyles.” They added, “We aim to enhance our positive brand image by integrating various vehicle models that resonate with the dynamic image of the athletes into our events.”
Meanwhile, since 2022, KGM has been presenting cars as prizes for the tournament’s championship and hole-in-one achievements. At the 11th tournament, a Torres was awarded to champion Hwang Jung-mi, and hole-in-one achievers Yu Ji-na and Choi Ga-ram received a Tivoli and Torres, respectively. The winner of the 12th tournament, Seo Yeon-jeong, also received a Torres, but unfortunately, no hole-in-one was made that year.
