Lexus Korea announced on the 22nd that it will begin the sale of the 2025 ‘UX 300h’, equipped with a 5th generation hybrid system.
The newly launched 2025 ‘UX 300h’ is a replacement model for the existing ‘UX 250h’, featuring the 5th generation hybrid system which offers higher output and outstanding driving performance. Additionally, safety specifications and various convenience features have been upgraded for the safety and convenience of passengers.
The 2025 ‘UX 300h’ includes a 5th generation hybrid system with a lithium-ion battery, high-output motor, and lightweight transaxle, achieving both performance and fuel efficiency. The ‘UX 300h’ combines a highly efficient 2.0L inline 4-cylinder engine optimized for the hybrid system with a high-output motor that provides strong torque, resulting in a total system output of 199 horsepower (ps) and a government-certified fuel efficiency of 18 km/L (combined).
The new 2025 ‘UX 300h’ features a new brake system, AHB-G, which reduces the discomfort during regenerative braking and ensures smooth braking feel and excellent pedal responsiveness. Additionally, the vehicle’s braking posture control function distributes braking force independently at the front and rear to maintain the vehicle’s stable posture, enabling comfortable driving.
The ‘UX 300h’ has enhanced body rigidity through additional reinforcements added between the front and rear spaces and strengthened suspension mounting torque, along with improved handling stability and steering responsiveness. Moreover, the ‘UX 300h’ is equipped with a shift knob featuring an ‘Electronic Shift by Wire’ system that provides faster and superior operability during gear changes.
The ‘UX 300h’ is equipped with various convenience features, including ▲Lexus Connect ▲Lexus 10-Speaker Premium Sound ▲Lexus Climate Concierge ▲Hands-free Power Back Door. Enhancements in safety have also been made, such as Safe Exit Assist (SEA) that uses BSM sensors to detect approaching bicycles or motorcycles while exiting, Road Sign Assist (RSA), and Active Driving Assist (PDA), all contributing to an upgraded ‘Lexus Safety System+’ for safer driving.
The design of the 2025 ‘UX 300h’ presents a compact profile ideal for urban driving, characterized by a striking and dynamic look that varies from different angles. The front features a robust and stunning spindle grille along with iconic headlamp designs that emphasize the identity of Lexus, while the rear showcases wheel arches and a rear spoiler that extend outward, expressing the dynamism of a crossover vehicle.
The interior is designed with a human-centered approach under the ‘Cross-Create’ concept, emphasizing a sense of unity between passengers and the vehicle. The instrument panel structure surrounding the driver and a smart layout that allows for intuitive operation provide a safe and enjoyable driving experience.
Additionally, the ‘UX 300h F SPORT’ model is also being launched. The ‘UX 300h F SPORT’ features a unique vertical mesh pattern spindle grille and jet black accents, reinforcing the performance characteristics of F SPORT in its exterior design. Inside, F SPORT-exclusive seats and three multi-information displays provide simultaneous information display, with a 12.3-inch full graphic meter that changes the instrument design based on the driving modes (Eco, Sport, Sport+, Normal) for a distinct experience.
Furthermore, the Performance Damper is applied to ensure torsional rigidity and contribute to stable handling during cornering, while the Adaptive Variable Suspension system offers comfort adjustments according to the drive mode, ensuring active stability even on uneven surfaces for enhanced driving performance.
Moreover, features exclusive to the F SPORT model have been included, such as ▲F-Sport Paddle Shift for enhanced feedback and quick operability, ▲Active Sound Control allowing drivers to experience a virtual engine sound depending on acceleration, and ▲Sport S+ mode optimizing hybrid system and transmission control for sportier driving.
