Hyundai Motor Company has selected Lee Seok-hee, sales manager at the Cheonan West branch, as a ‘Sales Master’ at the age of 55.

The title of Sales Master is the highest honor awarded to employees who surpass 5,000 cumulative sales, a remarkable achievement that only 16 individuals have reached to date.

Lee Seok-hee joined Hyundai in 1993 and achieved the milestone of selling 5,000 vehicles in 29 years, becoming the 17th Sales Master.

Lee stated, “For 29 years, I have always strived to serve customers with a sincere and diligent attitude.” He continued, “Caring for customers as if they were buying my own car seems to have led to this positive outcome.”

He added, “Regardless of the questions customers might have, I will continue to prepare thoroughly to respond kindly and promptly. I will do my best to achieve over 6,000 units sold as well.”

To encourage employees who strive in sales and foster healthy competition, Hyundai operates various award systems, including sales honorary awards, national sales king awards, and the ‘The Class’ awards.

The honorary sales award program includes titles such as ‘Sales Artisan’ for reaching 2,000 units sold, ‘Sales Expert’ for 3,000 units, ‘Sales Virtuoso’ for 4,000 units, and ‘Sales Master’ for 5,000 units, along with additional bonuses.

A Hyundai representative mentioned, “We will continue to operate various award programs to motivate the sales team and promote healthy competition.”
