Hyundai Motors is teaming up with E1 and the Korea Federation of SMEs to support small business owners in the country.

On May 28, Hyundai Motors announced that an agreement to promote co-growth for small business owners and expand LPG vehicle distribution was signed at the E1 headquarters located in Yongsan, Seoul, attended by key stakeholders including Ahn Jung-il, Head of Domestic Sales at Hyundai, Kim Soo-keun, Head of E1 Sales Division, and Lee Chang-ho, Head of the SME Federation’s Insurance Operations Division.

This memorandum of understanding (MOU) was established to support small businesses by collaborating with E1, a major LPG supplier in Korea, and the Korea Federation of SMEs, which operates the Yellow Umbrella Mutual Aid system aimed at stabilizing the businesses and livelihoods of small enterprises.

Through this agreement, Hyundai Motors, E1, and the Korea Federation of SMEs will provide benefits to members of the Yellow Umbrella Mutual Aid program who purchase the Porter II LPG model, including a ▲ 200,000 won discount on the vehicle ▲ issuance of a dedicated membership card ▲ and 100,000 points for LPG refueling.

In particular, the exclusive E1 membership card allows members to earn 30 points for every 1,000 won spent, offering 10 times greater benefits compared to regular customers.

The card can be received from a car master at the time of vehicle delivery, and the accumulated points can be used like cash at E1 refueling stations across the country and various partner merchants. (※ Usage limit for granted points: 4,000 points per transaction, unused points will expire within one year)

A Hyundai representative stated, “We decided to hold this promotion to alleviate the burden on small business owners regarding the purchase and refueling of LPG trucks,” and added, “Hyundai plans to pursue more collaborations for co-growth with small businesses in the future.”

Additionally, Hyundai Motors offers a 500,000 won discount for members of the Yellow Umbrella Mutual Aid program who purchase the Porter II Electric model.

Meanwhile, Hyundai is continuously working to reduce the financial burden on small business customers by launching a low-interest financing promotion for the Porter II Electric model that allows vehicle purchases for around 30,000 won a month, with an interest rate of 1.8%.
