Hyundai Motor Group has donated 35 billion won to the Community Chest of Korea.

On the 18th (Monday), Hyundai Motor Group held a donation ceremony for the ‘Hope 2024 Sharing Campaign’ at the Community Chest of Korea’s Love Fruit Hall located in Jung-gu, Seoul. The ceremony was attended by key figures including Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Euisun, President Kim Geol, Community Chest Chairman Kim Byeong-Jun, and Secretary General Hwang In-Sik, as announced on the 19th (Tuesday).

The Community Chest of Korea conducts the ‘Hope Sharing Campaign’ every year from December 1 to January 31 of the following year to support those in need during the year-end and New Year.

Hyundai Motor Group actively participates in this initiative and has donated to the Community Chest every year since 2003. This year, they increased the amount by 10 billion won compared to last year, donating a total of 35 billion won, bringing the cumulative donations to 394 billion won as of this year.

Chairman Chung noted, “Understanding the pain of many who are suffering due to the prolonged pandemic and economic recession, I believe it is the important role of a company to look towards hope together. In response to the support and love from the public for Hyundai Motor Group, we have once again donated this year to practice neighborly love.”
