Hyundai AutoEver is strengthening its connected car capabilities by hiring a connected car expert as an executive in its North American subsidiary.
Hyundai AutoEver has announced the appointment of Steve Basra as Chief Digital Officer (CDO) and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for its North American subsidiary.
Steve Basra has worked at Toyota for 25 years, where he held roles as the CEO of Toyota Connected and VP of Toyota North America. Regarded as an authority on global connected car services, he has also served in key positions at Toyota’s global IT strategy division as well as in Toyota India and Europe.
In his dual role as CDO and CTO at Hyundai AutoEver’s North American subsidiary, Steve Basra plans to establish digital strategies centered on North America while actively contributing to the enhancement of Hyundai AutoEver’s global competitiveness through the development of innovative technologies and the discovery of data-driven new business models.
