Honda Korea has announced on the 18th that it has selected actor Song Jin-Woo as the ambassador for the all-new 8-seater large SUV, the All-New Pilot, providing him with the vehicle. Song Jin-Woo will engage in various promotional and marketing activities over the next year to showcase the unique attractions of the All-New Pilot.
Actor Song Jin-Woo has established himself as a “scene stealer” with his outstanding performances in dramas such as ‘Mr. Sunshine’, ‘Jirisan’, and ‘Strong Woman Do Bong-soon’. He is recognized not only for his acting but also as an all-rounder actor, seamlessly transitioning between genres such as variety shows and radio DJ. He actively communicates with his fans and shares his daily life as a father of two children through his vibrant social media presence.
Honda Korea explained, “The All-New Pilot, an overwhelming all-round large SUV in terms of space, convenience, performance, and safety, aligns well with the image of actor Song Jin-Woo, who showcases a diverse charm based on strong fundamentals. This is why he has been chosen as the new Honda ambassador.”
The All-New Pilot was launched as a completely redesigned model this August. It boasts a V6 3.5L direct injection DOHC i-VTEC engine coupled with a 10-speed automatic transmission, offering powerful driving performance and high fuel efficiency, along with a unique strong yet smooth acceleration characteristic of the Pilot that provides a comfortable driving environment. With Honda’s unique packaging technology, it offers a spacious and pleasant passenger area along with an overwhelming cargo space, and the upgraded Honda Sensing has also achieved class-leading levels of safety. It features seven driving modes and various convenience functions, including BOSE premium audio.
Meanwhile, Honda Korea is actively continuing marketing activities through the ‘Honda Ambassador Program,’ selecting various figures as promotional ambassadors, including actor Shim Ji-Ho, LG Twins player Oh Ji-Hwan, and KLPGA pro Jeong Yoon-Ji.
