‘The All-New Electric MINI Cooper’

MINI Korea will begin pre-orders for the all-new model ‘The All-New Electric MINI Cooper,’ which has evolved into its fourth generation, starting from April 1 at 3 PM through the MINI Shop Online (https://shop.mini.co.kr).

The all-new Electric MINI Cooper is a completely redesigned model introduced 10 years after the launch of the third-generation MINI Cooper in 2014. It marks a new beginning for the MINI brand as it transitions into a fully electric brand. With a design reflecting minimalism, groundbreaking digital experience, extended driving range, and the brand’s signature go-kart feeling, it has evolved into the most advanced pure electric vehicle.

The exterior and interior of the all-new Electric MINI Cooper maintain the core identity of the MINI brand while maximizing the sense of minimalism. The exterior features flush-type door handles and a smooth body surface design, presenting a modern impression. At the same time, it retains signature elements like the classic round headlights, octagonal grille, and rear lights designed in the shape of the Union Jack, preserving the unique design heritage of MINI.

The interior has also evolved into a cleaner and more sophisticated look. The most notable feature is the central display located at the center of the dashboard. Developed in collaboration with Samsung Display, the industry-first round OLED display offers vivid clarity and quick responsiveness, providing an experience akin to using a smartphone.

The central display integrates the instrument cluster, navigation, interior climate control, and in-car infotainment functions, especially featuring MINI’s latest MINI Operating System 9. This includes a T-map-based Korean MINI navigation system, in-car gaming features, video streaming services, and access to third-party apps.

Additionally, the interior of the all-new Electric MINI Cooper emphasizes a minimalist charm with a cleanly designed dashboard, iconic MINI toggle bar reflecting the heritage of the classic Mini, and a 3-spoke sports steering wheel with a fabric strap.

The all-new Electric MINI is equipped with an electric motor that delivers a maximum output of 218 horsepower and a maximum torque of 33.7 kg·m. After a full charge, the expected driving range is between 290-320 km (before domestic certification, based on WLTP standards, the driving range is 402 km after one full charge).

The all-new Electric MINI will be available in two trims: ‘Classic’ and ‘Favoured,’ with estimated prices ranging from 52 to 57 million KRW depending on the trim. There are plans to gradually release pure electric models along with internal combustion engine models after June.

The pre-order process will take place on the ‘MINI Shop Online,’ and for more details, inquiries can be directed to the MINI Communication Center (080-700-8000).
