The 1968 Lamborghini Miura Roadster is on display at the Lamborghini Museum Mudetec in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy, until the 30th. This exhibition is a very special opportunity for museum visitors to see an invaluable piece of automotive history up close.

First unveiled at the Carrozzeria Bertone booth at the 1968 Brussels Motor Show, the Miura Roadster remains a one-off model, recognized as one of the most beautiful show cars ever made. Its lime sky blue exterior, red carpeting, and white leather interior combine to create a dazzlingly attractive color scheme.

The Miura Roadster maintains its unique appearance without side windows or a roof closure system, as envisioned by the Bertone stylists. Aesthetic changes compared to the sedan version of the Miura include the complete exposure of the rear-mounted engine and the relocation of interior switches that are typically found on the roof.

The Miura Roadster made another appearance at the 1968 Geneva Motor Show before returning to Italy for driving tests conducted by Lamborghini’s legendary test driver, Bob Wallace. Later, the International Lead-Zinc Research Organization acquired the Miura Roadster, repainting its interior in green and the exterior in a deep olive green, renaming it “ZN 75.”

From 2007 to 2008, the Miura Roadster underwent a meticulous restoration down to the finest details, returning it to its original version. After the restoration, the Miura Roadster claimed second place in the Lamborghini class at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, a globally recognized classic car event held in August 2008.
