‘Shinsegae Department Store Maybach Pop-up Store’

Hansung Motors, the official Mercedes-Benz dealer, announced on the 8th that it will operate a ‘Maybach Exclusive Lounge’ pop-up store at ‘The Stage’ located on the first floor of Shinsegae Department Store in Gangnam until the 15th.

This event is planned to celebrate the upcoming renewal of the Cheongdam showroom, set to open later this month. In line with the luxury concept of the Cheongdam showroom, the initiative aims to provide customers of Shinsegae Gangnam, which ranks first in domestic sales, with a luxurious experience of Mercedes-Benz’s top-tier brand, Mercedes-Maybach.

‘The Stage,’ the venue for the pop-up store, is a dedicated space opened in 2018, primarily utilized by global luxury brands to showcase their products in the Korean market.

Hansung Motors will create a specialized area within this space featuring special edition vehicles from Mercedes-Maybach, allowing visitors to fully experience the brand’s heritage.

The special edition vehicle on display is the ‘Mercedes-Maybach S 680 4MATIC Haute Couture Edition’ which reflects the brand’s spirit of pursuing ‘high-level luxury’ with elements of high-end fashion design, ‘haute couture’. This car, reminiscent of an ‘artistic masterpiece on wheels’, is a special limited edition model, with only 150 units sold worldwide and just 20 in Korea, priced close to 600 million KRW.
