Rex Motors, the official dealer for Jeep, held a commemorative ceremony on the 5th to celebrate surpassing 20,000 vehicle sales at its Cheongdam Jeep-exclusive showroom.

Rex Motors (hereinafter referred to as Rex) is one of the dealerships that has maintained the longest partnership with Jeep in Korea, having operated the current Cheongdam showroom for the past 22 years since its founding in 2002. Based on a strong trust relationship with the Jeep brand, Rex has developed expertise, sales know-how, and an understanding of local customers over an extended partnership. While it took 14 years to sell the first 10,000 vehicles, Rex reduced the timeframe for an additional 10,000 sales to 8 years, achieving a cumulative total of 20,000 sales as the first single-dealer and single-showroom in Jeep’s history.

The event, held at the Cheongdam Jeep-exclusive showroom, was attended by Stellantis Korea’s Director Bang Sil, along with executives from the company, Rex employees, and representatives from our finance partner, Woori Financial Capital, who all shared congratulatory messages. Notably, the 20,000th delivery customer also participated in this meaningful occasion.

Director Bang Sil of Stellantis Korea expressed gratitude towards the employees of Rex Motors for achieving the remarkable milestone of 20,000 cumulative sales through stable business practices and flexible responses to a rapidly changing market environment. He stated, “Let’s continue to work together based on our steadfast partnership to enhance customer satisfaction.”

CEO Choi Woo-seok of Rex Motors expressed his gratitude to the customers who trusted and purchased vehicles from Rex until the achievement of 20,000 sales, to Stellantis for their support, and to all employees who have followed loyally. He promised, “We will continuously strive for improvement and innovation to enhance the value of the Jeep brand and provide customers with the best service and experience.”

Meanwhile, Rex Motors aims to achieve a cumulative sales target of 30,000 units by 2029 and is pursuing various strategies to reach this goal. Firstly, to provide the best customer experience in a more comfortable and premium environment, they plan to open a large Jeep-exclusive showroom on Dosan-daero in Gangnam in 2026.

The dealership is pivoting towards a hybrid sales strategy by combining technology and human input, implementing tailored marketing activities based on customer insights generated through artificial intelligence (AI), and planning to introduce a digital showroom where customers can experience virtual reality (VR) and check customization options.
