In July, as the world focuses on the global sports festival held in Paris, Peugeot is launching the limited ‘French Edition’ based on the 3008 and 5008 SUVs for domestic sale.
Since its debut with the Serpollet Peugeot at the 1889 Paris Exposition, Peugeot has been leading the popularization of French automobiles for 135 years. With its refined style and robust driving performance, the brand is recognized as France’s top national car brand, representing the essence of French automobiles.
To remind customers of its French heritage and share the excitement of Paris with Korean customers, Peugeot is introducing 60 limited units of the ‘French Edition’ with a Pearl White color for both the 3008 SUV and 5008 SUV GT trims. Both models feature exclusive side decals representing the French flag and rear badges, while the 5008 model includes a special French Edition wheel cap.
Peugeot’s flagship family cars, the 3008 and 5008, are available in 5-seater and 7-seater SUV models. They boast Peugeot’s iconic design that exudes a strong presence on the road, along with a range of safety features and a driving performance optimized for urban travel. The GT model of the French Edition includes advanced driving assistance systems (ADAS) such as speed limit recognition, recommended speed display, adaptive cruise control, lane departure prevention systems, and an Advanced Emergency Braking System (AEBS) that detects pedestrians and cyclists. The engine’s capability to deliver high torque at lower RPMs combines with Peugeot’s characteristic lively and agile handling to provide an optimal driving experience in the city.
To enhance the value of the French Edition, Peugeot is also providing a ‘Premium French Gourmet Package’ worth 600,000 KRW, which includes three representative French kitchenware brands. This package features a two-person set of Le Creuset Sorbet dinnerware, a duo Clermont pepper & salt mill set from Peugeot, which started as a steel company in 1810, and finally, a two-person set of artisanal cutlery from the luxury brand Jean Renoir Laguiole, all offered to purchasers of the edition.
The French Edition models of the Peugeot 3008 SUV and 5008 SUV are on display at Peugeot dealerships nationwide, and with a current promotional discount of 2 million KRW, they are available for purchase at 43,200,000 KRW and 47,000,000 KRW, respectively.
Furthermore, the Peugeot dealerships across the country will be decorated with a French mood to welcome customers. The entrance and interior of the showrooms will evoke the atmosphere with designs inspired by the French flag, while sales consultants will step away from their formal attire and don casual uniforms to interact with customers in a friendlier and more comfortable manner.
The representative of Stellantis Korea, Bang Sil, expressed, “As the representatives of French automobiles, we hope to convey the festive excitement of Paris to our Korean customers, and to elevate the allure of Peugeot to them. We aim to engage with customers through various activities that convey Peugeot’s unique ‘Allure’ moving forward.”
