The official Mercedes-Benz dealer, The Class Hyosung, sponsored the ‘New EQA 250’ vehicle as a hole-in-one prize at the ‘SK Shield & SK Telecom Championship’ held at the Rabbit Valley Country Club in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, from the 11th to the 13th.

On the final day of the tournament, in the 3rd round, player Lee So-young (25, Lotte) made a dramatic hole-in-one, capturing the luck of the ‘New EQA 250’, valued at 60 million won.

The ‘New EQA 250’ vehicle that The Class Hyosung presented to Lee So-young is a premium electric compact SUV equipped with a sleek design, efficient electric powertrain, and advanced driver assistance features. It is the second pure electric vehicle launched by Mercedes-Benz in Korea, following the ‘EQC’, offering a power output of 140kW and a driving range of 301 km.

This year marks the 19th edition of the ‘SK Shield & SK Telecom Championship,’ where The Class Hyosung has sponsored the hole-in-one vehicle. Following this event, the KLPGA wrapped up an 8-month-long competitive season. The tournament attracted attention as numerous star players attended. Player Park Min-ji (24) set a record for the most wins by an active player, securing the final trophy of the 2022 KLPGA season.

Meanwhile, The Class Hyosung has been actively promoting its golf marketing by sponsoring hole-in-one vehicles at ‘Hanwha Classic 2022’ held in August and the ‘WEMIX Championship’ held in October, serving as the official car and hole-in-one partner for the KLPGA.
