Renault Korea has prepared October discount benefits for new car buyers to celebrate the official autumn outing season.

In October, special discounts for customers affected by heavy rainfall continue. A special discount of 200,000 won will be available for flood victims or their spouses purchasing the XM3, SM6, or QM6. (Excluding SE vehicles)

The increasingly appealing mid-size sedan, the SM6, has launched a new trim called the “Feel” trim.

The SM6 Feel trim is characterized by reflecting common features that consumers find essential for actual vehicle operation based on surveys conducted in the sales field.

The base price of the SM6 Feel trim is 27,440,000 won, which is 940,000 won lower than the existing LE trim, but most of the basic specifications preferred by consumers from the LE trim have been retained.

Additionally, it is possible to purchase a fully-optioned model that includes advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) such as highway and traffic jam driving assistance, emergency braking assistance (vehicle/pedestrian/cyclist detection), distance warning, blind spot warning, rear cross-traffic warning, parking steering assistance, and 360-degree parking assistance along with the Easy Connect 9.3” navigation system with in-car payment, assist call, and real-time T-map navigation, as well as comfort packages like front seat ventilated seats and power seat for the passenger side for 30,050,000 won.

The 2023 model QM6 features the intelligent safety option, the Driving Assist Package, as standard from the RE Signature trim. The premium trim, the Premier, enhances its value with luxurious eco-friendly Alcantara black leather upholstery on the shoulders of the front and rear seats. The QM6 LPe showcases the LPG donut tank under the trunk floor, offering comfortable and practical space utility. Additionally, it has a patented mounting system that ensures passenger safety in the event of a rear-end collision.

Renault Korea began pre-orders for the XM3 E-TECH hybrid, which is set to launch this fall, starting October 1. The XM3 E-TECH hybrid has been developed by incorporating hybrid technology know-how used in Renault Group’s F1 machines, featuring a hybrid drive system closest to an electric vehicle, allowing for up to 75% driving in electric mode at speeds below 50 km/h in urban areas. The dual motor system, consisting of an electric drive motor (36 kW / 205 Nm) and a high-voltage starter motor (15 kW / 50 Nm) with generating function, is paired with a 1.6 gasoline engine optimized for hybrids and a clutchless multi-mode gearbox, providing a balance of high energy efficiency and dynamic driving performance.

Meanwhile, Renault Korea’s key models are known for their rapid delivery post-contract. The SM6 and XM3 gasoline models (TCe 260, 1.6 GTe) are expected to be deliverable within a month after the contract, while the QM6 is projected to be delivered within two months. However, delays may vary for some trims depending on the supply situation of components.
