Kakao Mobility is operating the Kakao T Shuttle for visitors to major theme parks such as Legoland, Gyeongju World, Lotte World, and Everland.
The ‘Kakao T Shuttle’ supports access to locations that are difficult to reach by private car or public transportation, expanding mobility options based on user needs. Currently, it operates various services including ‘T Shuttle’ for special purpose trips like regional festivals and events, ‘Open Shuttle’ that allows users to customize routes and schedules according to their preferred start and end points, and ‘Commuter Shuttle’ for corporate employees.
Kakao Mobility has collaborated with the Korea Tourism Organization to run ‘City Tour Shuttles’ across the country and the ‘Nami Island Shuttle’ to enhance special travel options. With the new ‘Theme Park Shuttle’, it aims to improve user accessibility while also alleviating local parking and traffic congestion.
The ‘Theme Park Shuttle’ operates round-trip routes between major theme parks like Legoland, Gyeongju World, Lotte World, and Everland, as well as hub areas in major cities, including Seoul. Users can select the shuttle option under the travel tab in the Kakao T app, choose their desired theme park, check schedules and routes based on boarding locations, and reserve the shuttle by entering details such as number of passengers, departure date, and boarding location. Fees vary by route, with payments possible through pre-registered cards or Kakao T points on the Kakao T app.
Various benefits, including Halloween seasonal promotions and discount vouchers, are available exclusively for Kakao T Shuttle users.
First, Legoland will operate a special program until October 30. Users who make a reservation for the ‘Kakao T Shuttle’ can enter a lottery for prizes including hotel accommodations, park tickets, and limited-edition LEGO products. The policy of 100% departure with as few as one passenger without a minimum boarding requirement is temporarily applied.
Gyeongju World offers a 30% discount on admission for Kakao T Shuttle customers until the end of this year, while Lotte World allows comprehensive tickets to be purchased through the Kakao T Shuttle without any limited time offers.
