Porsche Korea has unveiled the ‘Taycan 4S Cross Turismo for Jennie Ruby Jane’, designed in collaboration with global K-Pop star BLACKPINK’s Jennie, at the Sonderwunsch House.

The ‘Taycan 4S Cross Turismo for Jennie’ is a product of the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur’s Sonderwunsch program, reflecting Jennie’s dreams, ideas, and lifestyle.

Holger Gehrmann, the head of Porsche Korea, stated, “It was a very special experience to work on Porsche Korea’s first Sonderwunsch project with a young female creative leader and influential global icon representing Generation Z, BLACKPINK’s Jennie,” and he expressed deep admiration for her passion and ideas for her own Porsche. He added, “I hope that through the special personalization programs offered by Porsche Korea, many people with various lifestyles can realize their ‘dream’ of the perfect sports car.”

Jennie’s ‘dream car’ features a Meissen Blue color from the ‘Paint to Sample’ program and her custom-designed ‘Jennie Ruby Jane’ logo. The new Sonderwunsch model with Metallic Black color will be showcased at the ‘Sonderwunsch House’ until the 26th and will also be seen at the BLACKPINK World Tour concert starting in Seoul.

The essence of the Taycan Cross Turismo’s exterior is its understated expression. The body is finished in metallic black, contrasted with Meissen Blue accents on the 21-inch exclusive design rims. The “Electric” lettering on the driver’s side door and the model name on the rear, as well as the cloud logo on the B-pillar, all showcase the special blue color from the ‘Paint to Sample’ program.

The front door entry guards are adorned with “Jennie Ruby Jane”, while her nickname “Nini” is featured on the rear door. At Jennie’s request, the current 992 generation 911’s Porsche typography has been used, and a projection of the cloud logo is displayed on the ground via the front door logo projector. The wheel hub covers display the artist’s name along with the term “Sonderwunsch.”

The combination of black, crayon, and Meissen Blue creates an elegant atmosphere in the interior. Only the seats and upper part of the dashboard have the crayon color applied. The door panel trim, ventilation borders, cup holder, and the top center of the steering wheel are accented with Meissen Blue. The headrests are decorated with clouds designed by Jennie, and a special interior cover featuring the same design has been created. Unique elements, such as a black pet carrier for Jennie’s Pomeranian “Kuma” (meaning ‘bear’ in Japanese), emphasize the project’s attention to detail. The pet carrier, like other features of the vehicle, is highlighted in Meissen Blue, including the pet’s name at the front, with Jennie’s cloud design applied inside the carrier.

Alexander Fabig, Vice President of Porsche Personalization and Classics, remarked, “Jennie had a very concrete image of the Porsche she dreamed of, making this collaboration more passionate than ever, and it was a time to share inspiration.” He added, “It was an honor to work on such a special project with Jennie, facing exciting challenges to bring her creative wishes to life.”

Throughout a long digital workshop, experts from Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur’s Sonderwunsch team and the Style Porsche Design Department collaborated with Jennie to finalize every detail of the Taycan 4S Cross Turismo. The vehicle was custom-made in the Sonderwunsch department at the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur workshop in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen.

Grant Larson from Style Porsche noted, “As an artist, Jennie is accustomed to creative exchanges, and I was impressed when she arrived at the first meeting with a mood board visualizing her ideas.” Larson has been with Style Porsche since 1989 and leads the design aspect of the Sonderwunsch program as a project manager.

Jennie expressed her thoughts saying, “The experience of collaborating with Porsche to create my own vehicle is incredible.” She remarked, “I take pride in the visualized design of clouds, as the sky and clouds are invaluable travel companions and symbols of unique experiences for me, spending many hours on world tours,” adding, “This is precisely why I feel a special bond with clouds and the sky, and am passionate about capturing natural motifs in photographs.”
