Mercedes-Benz Korea will officially sponsor the ‘Cirque du Soleil’s New Alegría’ starting from December 20 (Thursday) to January 1 (Sunday) at the Big Top in Jamsil Sports Complex.

This sponsorship of the performance is part of Mercedes-Benz Korea’s cultural arts sponsorship program, ‘Mercedes-Benz Selection’, marking its eighth activity. Mercedes-Benz Korea has decided to officially sponsor this performance in order to present meaningful works of world-renowned acclaim to domestic audiences.

The iconic work of the world-renowned production company ‘Cirque du Soleil’, ‘Alegría’, is an art circus that offers a wondrous and intense immersive experience, featuring high-quality acrobatics, surreal costumes, dynamic sets, and emotionally enriching music. The title track ‘Alegría’, which was nominated for a Grammy Award, has recorded the highest sales among Cirque du Soleil albums and continues to be beloved today.

Launching in Seoul on the 20th, the ‘Cirque du Soleil’s New Alegría’ will present upgraded performances across all elements of the show—stage direction, acrobatics, music, sets, and costumes—in celebration of the 25th anniversary of ‘Alegría’, aiming to deliver an even more intense experience and pure joy. This performance follows the domestic show of ‘Kooza’ four years ago in 2018, generating high expectations among audiences.

Mercedes-Benz Korea plans to invite customers to this performance together with its official dealers, offering them a special experience. Furthermore, they intend to actively support various cultural and artistic content both domestically and internationally through the Mercedes-Benz Selection program, continuing to provide unique cultural and artistic experiences that align with the brand’s values.
