Porsche Korea, in collaboration with its official dealer Seyoung Mobility, held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Porsche Center Seong-su on the 21st.

Seyoung Mobility, as a new dealer partner of Porsche Korea, will manage Porsche sales and customer services in the eastern areas of Seoul, specifically Jamsil Songpa and Seong-su, beginning in 2023.

This groundbreaking ceremony serves as an announcement for the expansion of Porsche Korea’s network, embodying the brand’s commitment to sustainable management strategies to be implemented in these two regions.

The Porsche Songpa, currently under construction, aims to open in the first half of 2023, with plans for a showroom designed to maximize customer convenience and independence.

The Porsche Songpa will feature the world’s first 24-hour charging lounge and individual delivery spaces, offering a private service alongside its electric vehicle charging facilities. Additionally, the Porsche service center at Songpa will provide convenient maintenance services within the urban environment. Located in the heart of Seoul, Songpa District houses a population of 660,000 and is rich with shopping, education, culture, sports, and park facilities, making it a region where economic power and demand for luxury brands continue to grow.

Moreover, it is adjacent to Gangdong District to the east and north, Hanam City to the east, Gangnam District to the west, and Seongnam City to the south, thereby improving accessibility for diverse customer groups wishing to experience Porsche’s culture and customer service.

The Porsche Seong-su, scheduled to open in the second half of 2023, will include a new car showroom, a certified pre-owned vehicle center, and a Porsche service center equipped with advanced facilities for metalworking and painting, making it the largest complex showroom in Seoul providing one-stop service.

Seong-su serves as a strategic hub connecting North Gangbuk and the eastern area of Seoul, making it an essential base in Porsche Korea’s nationwide service enhancement strategy, which aims to provide customer service aligned with brand growth speeds.

The Porsche Songpa and Seong-su will also integrate sustainable architectural planning and operations. All centers of Seyoung Mobility are preparing for green building certification and plan to create a pleasant environment by reducing energy use through renewable energy sources like solar panels and reforestation efforts.

By implementing various eco-friendly awareness programs, the aim is to support the safety and healthy lifestyle of both customers and employees.

Hoga Geman, CEO of Porsche Korea, expressed excitement over Seyoung Mobility joining as a new dealer partner, stating, “We are pleased to have Seyoung Mobility, which has rich know-how in the domestic imported car market, join us as a new dealer partner. We look forward to providing a unique Porsche experience and service to customers in the heart of Seoul.”

Jang In-woo, CEO of Seyoung Mobility, commented, “For over 26 years, we have been making continuous investments to grow the imported car market and enhance customer satisfaction. We will do our best to provide quality service and increase customer satisfaction through the Porsche business.”

Meanwhile, Porsche Korea and Seyoung Mobility will open a ‘Porsche Now Seong-su’ pop-up store in November to share the vision of the Porsche brand with a diverse range of customers and fans.
