Kia has recognized Lee Kwang-wook, a Senior Auto Consultant at the Sangam branch in Seoul, for achieving an impressive milestone of 4,000 cumulative sales, earning him the title of ‘Grand Master’.

The title of Grand Master is a prestigious honor awarded exclusively to outstanding sales staff at Kia who have reached 4,000 cumulative sales.

Since joining Kia in 1995, Senior Auto Consultant Lee Kwang-wook has consistently excelled in sales, averaging 143 vehicles sold annually and reaching a total of 4,000 sales to become the 24th Grand Master.

Lee expressed his gratitude, stating, “Building genuine relationships with customers creates trust, and that trust leads to good results. I will continue to strive for growth and development without settling for the present.”

Kia also presented Lee with a trophy and a reward vehicle (K9).

To foster sales pride and a healthy competitive spirit among its staff, Kia has implemented various reward systems, including the ‘Long-Term Sales Honor Reward System’ and the ‘Kia Star Awards’.

The Long-Term Sales Honor Titles include ‘Star’ for 2,000 cumulative sales, ‘Master’ for 3,000, ‘Grand Master’ for 4,000, and ‘Great Master’ for 5,000 sales.

Kia offers cash prizes or vehicles (K9) to all employees who achieve these milestone sales numbers.

In response to the rapidly changing automotive industry and the strategic re-launch of the Kia brand, the company has changed the title of its sales personnel to ‘Auto Consultant’ as of the 5th of this month.

Additionally, existing titles from sales staff to sales managers have been consolidated into two tiers (Junior Auto Consultant, Senior Auto Consultant).

The designation ‘Auto Consultant’ reflects the expanded role of sales positions not only in vehicle sales but also in providing solutions for various mobility products/services such as PBV, autonomous driving, and vehicle subscriptions.
