Lamborghini has unveiled a one-off model, the ‘Invencible Coupe’ and ‘Ascentica Roadster’, with only one unit to be made, commemorating the end of the V12 engine era.

Designed by Lamborghini’s dedicated motorsport arm, Lamborghini Centro Stile, both the Invencible Coupe and Ascentica Roadster are based on a V12 engine platform and inherit design elements from Lamborghini’s legendary limited edition models.

Lamborghini’s Stephan Winkelmann explained, “For Lamborghini, the V12 engine represents a celebration of our successful history. As we enter a new era, we wish to express our passion for the V12 engine through these one-off models that symbolize the peak of our brand’s technology and heritage.”

Both models draw inspiration from Lamborghini’s limited edition model ‘Sesto Elemento’ which was first introduced in 2010, evoking motorsport spirit and ultralight design, while also incorporating elements of the uniquely styled aerospace-inspired supercar, the Reventón, and the aerodynamically advanced Veneno.

Michèle Beccaria, head of the Lamborghini Centro Stile design department, stated, “We are excited to showcase two one-off models, each with their own personality inspired by track and circuit environments. This design reflects Lamborghini Centro Stile’s creativity while once again presenting an entirely new level of design that showcases our unique DNA.”

Both vehicles are completed with a carbon fiber body and monocoque design verified through the Aventador, sporting an imposing hood shaped after the Essenza SCV12’s hood, while the front splitter is meticulously designed with vertical struts to efficiently manage the airflow.

The harmony of front and rear lights enhanced by Lamborghini’s signature hexagon-style LED daytime running lights presents a unique visual image that is distinctively Lamborghini. The hood’s air inlet resembles that of the Sesto Elemento and is made from Inconel, a specialized high-performance steel alloy used in the aerospace industry.

The interior features hexagonal design air vents and dashboard elegantly crafted through 3D printing, with measurement instruments removed from the console to allow for complete driving focus. The driver’s seat is constructed of carbon fiber, and a digital display shows exclusive graphics related to the vehicle.

The ‘Invencible Coupe’ primarily features a metallic red color, Rosso Epesto, contrasting with inclined carbon patterns. The classic scissor doors include a green hexagonal pattern symbolizing the Italian flag, which can also be found on the inside of the door and the steering wheel. The interior is colored red to match the vehicle body with contrasting red leather and special embroidery. The dashboard contrasts red and black colors around the Lamborghini logo, adding intensity.

The ‘Ascentica Roadster’ features a body primarily in matte gray called Grigio Titanus, accented with matte black and yellow. The color combination is utilized in major areas such as the front splitter and rear wing, optimized for aerodynamics. Ascentica showcases an original design inspired by past roadster models with two domes integrated into the roll bar. The open-top interior is adorned in yellow and black.

Both one-off vehicles are the last V12 engine cars to be produced by Lamborghini before the transition to hybrid era. They are equipped with a V12 powertrain producing 780 hp and 720 Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm, combined with a 7-speed ISR gearbox, all-wheel drive, and Lamborghini Dynamic Steering system controlling all four wheels.
