Kia is launching the product improvement model of the Morning, called ‘The New Morning’.

The Morning features a completely redesigned exterior that resembles a newly introduced vehicle, along with the best-in-class advanced driver assistance systems and convenience features.

Kia has applied LED headlights and a center positioning lamp to the Morning, making it a first in its class.

The LED center positioning lamp creates a ‘starmap signature lighting’ with left and right LED daytime running lights (DRL) that blend seamlessly, offering a wide appearance, combined with vertically arranged headlights for a sophisticated and robust ‘city look’.

Additionally, the simple treatment of the bumper harmonizes with the black grille, creating a modern and dynamic front design.

The side profile features a character line that flows from the front starmap signature lighting to the rear signature combination lamp, enhancing strength and dynamism, while the geometrically harmonious 16-inch wheels give the Morning a unique image.

The rear boasts signature combination lamps and a bumper that provides a sense of depth, delivering a bold impression, while the tail lamp, seemingly connected vertically to the lower bumper reflector, helps finalize a clean and stable design.

Kia will offer the Morning in a total of 7 exterior color options, including new colors ‘Adventurous Green’ and ‘Signal Red’, along with 3 interior color options featuring ‘Brown’ and ‘Dark Green’.

The Morning includes the best-in-class advanced driver assistance systems and convenience features that match its differentiated design.

The Morning now includes navigation-based smart cruise control that autonomously adjusts speed in safe zones and curves (with no stop-start feature), forward collision prevention assistance that assists in automatic braking when a collision with oncoming vehicles is predicted, and high beam assistance that automatically adjusts high beams to prevent glare for other drivers, ensuring safer and more convenient driving.

Moreover, Kia has enhanced the product offering of the Morning by providing an 8-inch display audio system with phone projection capabilities such as Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, a rear monitor, and power-folding outside mirrors linked with the door locking system as standard features, along with a smart key system with remote start support, and a second-row USB charging port.

Kia will also introduce a product improvement model of the Morning 2-seater van, increasing safety with a standard 6-airbag system, while improving convenience with the inclusion of an 8-inch display audio system, rear monitor, and a first-row charging USB port.

The Morning combines a gasoline 1.0 engine with a 4-speed automatic transmission, achieving a class-leading combined fuel efficiency of 15.1km/ℓ based on 14-inch wheels.

The prices for the Morning are as follows: ▲ Trendy 13,150,000 KRW ▲ Prestige 14,850,000 KRW ▲ Signature 16,550,000 KRW, while the van models are priced at ▲ Trendy 12,900,000 KRW ▲ Prestige 13,600,000 KRW.

Kia anticipates that the Morning, with its outstanding fuel efficiency and competitive pricing, will become an attractive urban mobility option for customers who prioritize rational consumption.

Meanwhile, Kia will conduct various marketing campaigns alongside the Morning launch.

Kia aims to promote the ‘Intimate Mobility with the City’ Morning through a TV ad that captures diverse individuals achieving great accomplishments in their light daily lives.

Also, in collaboration with convenience store ‘CU’, Kia plans to launch two types of ‘The Great Morning Muffins’ by the end of July, themed ‘Light but Hearty and Great’, and will conduct a giveaway event through channels such as Kia’s Instagram and KakaoTalk Plus Friends.

Furthermore, during July and August, Kia will host a morning call creation event in partnership with ‘SBS Kim Young-chul’s Power FM’ tailored to listener anecdotes, and will collaborate with Toss to set up ‘Toss Step Count’ reward locations at over 60 Kia dealerships located in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province bus stops.

Additionally, from July 5 to 17, Kia will randomly select 50 customers who sign contracts for the Morning to receive tickets for ‘Master’s Driving License’, beginner driving stickers, and a ‘beginner driving kit’ that includes a parking number plate. Furthermore, in July, Kia will draw 20 participants for a 4-day, 5-night experience opportunity with the Morning under the concept ‘City Driving with Morning’.

Besides, Kia will conduct an event in collaboration with fresh food commerce platform ‘Predit’, running from July 5 to 31, featuring a ‘Good Morning Promotion’, where one lucky purchaser will win a Morning through a lottery.
