Alcantara has announced that it will be used as the interior material for the motorsport vehicle model ‘GR Supra GT4 Plasma Orange 100 Edition’. This model is a limited edition, with only 100 units available for sale through a lottery starting this fall.

The ‘GR Supra GT4’ is a motorsport vehicle based on the Supra, which as of the end of 2022, has achieved remarkable results with a total of 625 vehicles competing in 317 races worldwide. Notably, it has secured 79 class wins and 20 overall victories in various GT4 championships across different countries, including Japan’s endurance race series ‘Super Taikyu’, tallying a total of 207 podium finishes.

The ‘Plasma Orange 100 Edition’ is built on the existing RZ trim, boasting a sturdy design complemented by the intense and vivid ‘Plasma Orange’ exterior color, highlighting the Supra’s unique sporty character.

The Alcantara used in this special edition’s interior is an innovative and original material that satisfies both design and tactile qualities, adaptable to various forms. In addition to offering a comfortable experience, it possesses functional properties such as lightweight, durability, heat resistance, breathability, and high grip, making it a popular choice for the interiors of many luxury vehicles.
