Mercedes-Benz Korea has announced that it has been simultaneously selected as the top company in sales service quality in the “Imported Car Dealership” and “Imported Certified Used Car” categories, recognized for its excellent quality in customer service and showroom facilities in the 2023 Korean Service Quality Index (KSQI) conducted by the Korea Management Association Consulting on the 9th.

Now in its 14th year, the Korean Service Quality Index objectively assesses the product and service quality levels recognized by consumers from various businesses at customer touchpoints, selecting award-winning companies by industry. This year, a total of 145 businesses and institutions across 36 industries were evaluated through a “mystery survey” method to directly experience and assess service quality.

In this evaluation, Mercedes-Benz Korea scored 97 points in the “Imported Car Dealership” sector, marking its ninth consecutive year as the top service quality company. It garnered the highest scores in six out of the 11 evaluation criteria assessing customers’ overall service quality, excelling in essential service areas.

Additionally, in the “Imported Certified Used Car” category, it achieved a score of 95 points, being selected as the top company for three consecutive years since this category was newly established in 2021. Mercedes-Benz Korea received the highest scores among competitors in the same industry in customer interaction and proactivity, affirming its commitment to delivering luxury and differentiated customer service in the certified used car sector, consistently providing satisfaction to customers.

Mercedes-Benz Korea operates systematic and professional service programs at its 64 official showrooms and 77 official service centers across the country, providing top-tier services commensurate with its brand reputation. The company also surpassed an annual sales record of 80,000 units last year, being the first in the imported car market.

Furthermore, after entering the certified used car market in 2011, it now operates the largest network in the country with 24 official certified used car showrooms among imported car brands and offers a transparent, high-quality online store. From 2020 to 2022, its sales figures have consistently grown, with an average increase of 17% annually.

Regarding this award, Lee Sang-guk, Vice President of Sales Division at Mercedes-Benz Korea, remarked, “We are honored to achieve remarkable results by being recognized in two categories, thanks to our customer-centered philosophy focused on providing the best service. We will continue to ensure that customers experience luxury at every stage of their vehicle purchase journey through Mercedes-Benz’s differentiated services and brand experiences.”

Meanwhile, Mercedes-Benz Korea has continuously demonstrated its service competitiveness, ranking first for six consecutive years in the “2023 Korean Consumer Awards” under the Global Brand category, and for seven consecutive years in the “2022 Korean Quality Satisfaction Index (KS-QEI)” in the imported car after-sales service category.
