Lotus Cars Korea has officially unveiled the Eletra in South Korea. On September 21, at the Peaches Do Won in Seoul’s Seongsu-dong, Lotus Cars Korea showcased its first hyper SUV, the Eletra, starting pre-orders and officially targeting the Korean market.

The Eletra is the first SUV from the Lotus brand and a pure electric hypercar. It embodies the unique sports car DNA of Lotus, delivering a high-performance SUV experience, allowing drivers to feel the essence of Lotus engineering, which has thrived in F1, even in their everyday lives. Coupled with various cutting-edge features, sophisticated materials, and stunning design, it sets a new standard for satisfaction as an eco-friendly vehicle.

In fact, the most powerful model, the Eletra R, boasts a peak output of 675 kW (918 horsepower).

The acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h is a mere 2.95 seconds. Charging the 112 kWh lithium-ion battery with a 350 kW fast charger allows a 10 to 80% charge in just 20 minutes. The advanced features of the Eletra are equally impressive.

The Eletra supports semi-autonomous adaptive cruise control features through advanced sensors and technologies like LIDAR and radar. It offers a spacious interior based on a wheelbase of 3,109 mm, providing abundant space characteristic of large SUVs. Additionally, the KEF reference audio system, offered as an option, provides 2,160 W with 23 speakers, filling the serene atmosphere typical of electric vehicles with vibrant and clear sound.

Lotus Cars Korea commenced pre-orders along with the Eletra’s reveal. The first 200 pre-order customers will receive premium Bang & Olufsen Beoplay HX headphones. These headphones are renowned for their next-generation digital adaptive active noise cancellation and impressive, immersive sound.

Lotus Cars Korea plans to engage actively with customers following the Eletra’s unveiling and pre-order launch. An exhibition of the Eletra will take place at Peaches Do Won until September 28th, allowing anyone to freely experience the Eletra up close. The event provides an opportunity to witness the Eletra’s thrilling performance in the vibrant atmosphere of Seongsu.

Official communication channels have also been established. Lotus Cars Korea has opened an official Instagram account and KakaoTalk channel to share brand news and interesting stories while connecting with customers. Visitors to the Peaches Do Won exhibition can participate in a follow and friend addition event.
