Alcantara has announced that its material will be used in the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale. The Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale features a dashboard and center tunnel inspired by aircraft, incorporating Alcantara along with aluminum, carbon fiber, and leather. With unprecedented levels of customization, the car has already sold out.

The collaboration between Alcantara and Alfa Romeo, which has continued since the 1990s, is based on craftsmanship, luxury, sportiness, and the values of ‘Made in Italy’. Both brands, known for their Italian craftsmanship, continuously combine aesthetics with innovative technology, utilizing their rich experience in vehicle manufacturing customization through this collaboration.

The Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale, often regarded as one of the most beautiful cars ever, is a special edition vehicle commemorating the iconic 33 Stradale produced between 1967 and 1969. This new iteration features a design inspired by the classic model and is available in two trims: ‘Tributo’ and ‘Alfa Corse’.

The ‘Tributo’ version is draped in Alcantara from the beltline to the roof. The lightweight and soft Alcantara material stretches upwards to envelop the high console and pillars.

The interior of the ‘Alfa Corse’ version features carbon fiber and Alcantara in various colors and finishes, highlighting the sporty character of the vehicle. The seats, dashboard, door panels, and center tunnel trim utilize Alcantara and leather combinations in black, red and black, or blue and black.

Notably, the dashboard and center tunnel are characterized by mechanical details inspired by aircraft, while the seats and door panels are designed to wrap around the body, providing unique comfort. Furthermore, they combine functional yet simplistic designs, high-performance materials like Alcantara and carbon fiber, and chassis performance to create a sensory synergy.

Using the same material and color for side piping, door panels, dashboard, cockpit, and center tunnel trim visually enhances the driving experience.

Meanwhile, Alcantara material offers aesthetic appeal along with grip, lightness, and breathability, enhancing the driving experience of the vehicle. Additionally, since 2009, Alcantara has received certification from the global testing and certification institute TÜV SÜD, practicing carbon neutrality throughout the production, use, and disposal processes, thus achieving sustainability.
