From October 12 (Thursday) to October 15 (Sunday), Harman International Korea will be an official sponsor at the Genesis Championship, held at the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea, representing the high-end audio brand Bang & Olufsen.

During the event, Harman International Korea, in collaboration with the Genesis brand, will operate a ‘Bang & Olufsen Sound Experience Zone’ at the Genesis Suite, which is set up for the Genesis Suite customers visiting the tournament. These customers will have the opportunity to relax in the Genesis Suite while experiencing Bang & Olufsen’s luxury home audio sound system firsthand.

This year, to allow Genesis Suite customers to closely enjoy the players’ performances, a ’10th Hole Tee Shot Sound Listening Zone’ will be available. From the Genesis Suite overlooking the 10th hole, customers can visually see the players teeing off while simultaneously listening to the sounds of their shots vividly through Bang & Olufsen headphones.

Participants and VIP customers will receive Bang & Olufsen audio products engraved with the partnership logo of Genesis and Bang & Olufsen.

Additionally, during the tournament, spectators at the Genesis Championship event will be able to experience the beautiful sounds of Bang & Olufsen and the intuitive graphic sound control user interface through the Beosonic sound technology at the ‘Bang & Olufsen Beosonic Experience Zone’ set up in the Gallery Plaza at the event venue.

The Bang & Olufsen sound system provided in the Genesis G90 and GV60 features Beosonic sound technology, an intuitive graphic sound control user interface that allows drivers and passengers to adjust their sound settings with a single touch.

If adjusting the audio settings in a vehicle previously required tweaking high, mid, and low frequencies one at a time, Beosonic allows users to choose from one of four distinctive sound spaces described with intuitive emotional language: ‘Bright,’ ‘Energetic,’ ‘Relaxed,’ and ‘Warm.’ This enables drivers and passengers to easily customize their sound preferences with just a touch.

Experience participants can listen to the synesthetic sounds of Beosonic through the Bang & Olufsen sound system at the Beosonic kiosk in the Experience Zone, seeking out the tone that best matches their preferences.

Moreover, during the Experience Zone operation period, visitors who share their experiences at the Bang & Olufsen Beosonic kiosk on Instagram with the required hashtags #GenesisBangAndOlufsen #Beosonic #Energetic (choosing their preferred tone) will have a chance to win Genesis-branded wireless earphones through a lucky draw.

The Bang & Olufsen sound system, representing true sound, timeless design, and exceptional craftsmanship, was first integrated into the Genesis brand’s dedicated electric vehicle, the GV60, revealed in September 2020 through a partnership with Genesis, and has since been adopted in the Genesis flagship sedan G90 and the recently launched luxury SUV GV80 Coupe, receiving great acclaim.
