Lexus Korea has announced that its premium hybrid sedan, the ES 300h, has been named ‘Car of the Year’ for four consecutive years in the 2023 Annual Automotive Survey conducted by Consumer Insight, a specialized automotive research organization.

The Annual Automotive Survey conducted by Consumer Insight has been taking place every year since 2001. It targets consumers who purchased a new car within the past year, and it features direct evaluations from customers based on their experiences of buying and using their vehicles.

In this year’s survey, the Lexus ES 300h scored the highest overall by excelling in three categories: product satisfaction, initial quality, and value for money, thereby earning the title of ‘Car of the Year’ for four consecutive years.

In terms of product satisfaction based on 11 attributes related to performance, functionality, and design, it ranked first among both imported and domestic vehicles, receiving recognition for its product quality from vehicle owners.

The ES 300h, representing Lexus as a premium hybrid sedan, has been a best-selling model of Lexus for over a decade since its domestic launch in 2012, attracting consistent love from customers with its comfortable driving experience, high fuel efficiency, and eco-friendliness of its hybrid powertrain.

Kang Dae-hwan, Executive Director of Lexus Korea, stated, “The ‘Car of the Year’ award holds special significance as it is chosen by our customers based on their hands-on experiences with the vehicle. We will continue to repay the love received from our customers by delivering touching experiences, from the moment they decide to purchase a vehicle to the necessary after-sales services, alongside Lexus dealers across the country.”
