TMAP Mobility has unveiled a new hotel booking service, marking a significant step in its expansion.

On the 27th, TMAP Mobility announced the launch of its ‘TMAP Accommodation Booking’ service, allowing users to book accommodations at hotels and resorts nationwide through its comprehensive mobility platform, TMAP. The service is available on the latest version of TMAP (v 10.1), which is being rolled out in phases.

The TMAP Accommodation Booking service is powered by vast data from TMAP and partnerships with hospitality IT companies. As of this month, over 12,000 hotels and resorts are available for booking through TMAP, with plans to continually expand based on user needs. The range of accommodations will gradually include campsites and guesthouses as well.

The booking process is simple. After searching for an accommodation on TMAP, users can click the ‘Book Now’ button to see details about room types, available rooms, prices, and payment methods at a glance. After selecting a room type and completing payment, the reservation is finalized. Some bookings may also come with exclusive offers or lowest price guarantees linked to TMAP.

One key differentiation for the ‘TMAP Accommodation Booking’ service is the ability for users to receive navigation to their travel destination while also getting recommendations for nearby restaurants, cafes, and tourist attractions, making it a one-stop process for accommodation booking and payment. TMAP Mobility plans to take the lead in the ‘Mobility Life’ market trend, integrating travel and mobility services.

In partnership with the Korea Tourism Organization and Volvo Cars Korea, TMAP Mobility will conduct an ‘Eco-Friendly Travel Destination Promotion.’ Users who visit eco-friendly destinations recommended by the Tourism Organization or book accommodations at over 450 locations around these areas through TMAP will have a chance to win prizes such as rental vouchers for the Volvo C40 Recharge, camping equipment packages, public transportation vouchers, and online gift cards worth 10,000 won. In December, a ‘Rental Car + Accommodation’ discount package promotion is also expected to launch.

Kim Do-hyun, head of New Business at TMAP Mobility, stated, “The TMAP Accommodation Booking service embodies TMAP’s firm philosophy of being with customers at every moment of travel. We will do our utmost to ensure that our 20 million users can use the new service conveniently and at a reduced cost.”
