Audi Korea recently held the ‘2023 Audi Service Experience’ at the Audi Gangdong Service Center, inviting customers to participate in a hands-on A/S service experience event.

The ‘Audi Service Experience’ is a customer engagement program that allows participants to observe and experience the maintenance and repair processes of their vehicles alongside professional technicians at official Audi service centers. This initiative is designed to enhance trust in the service by enabling customers to directly witness Audi’s specialized and systematic maintenance and repair procedures and principles.

On the 28th of last month, the ‘Audi Service Experience’ took place at the Audi Gangdong Service Center, catering to 45 customers in two sessions, morning and afternoon. The event included various sessions such as a service center tour, education and hands-on experience in repairs and maintenance, electric vehicle repair training, vehicle inspections, and a quiz event.

During the service center tour, customers were introduced to the standard repair facilities, body repair facilities, electric vehicle repair areas, and paint facilities, where they had the chance to inspect and check their vehicles with Audi’s specialized technicians.

In the general repair sector, service center managers along with specialist technicians provided training on tire-related inspections and methods and included education on battery repairs and electric vehicle e-tron servicing, as well as customer vehicle inspection processes. In the body repair sector, sessions covered Audi’s unique body repair processes, body damage repairs using measurement equipment, and aluminum welding techniques. Lastly, in the vehicle paint division, customers learned about Audi’s vehicle painting standard processes through videos and body samples, the painting process and standards specific to the fully electric e-tron, and the overall content of the painting work through color matching practical sessions.

In addition to all the scheduled education and hands-on experiences, customers spent time examining their Audi vehicles with technicians in actual work bays, acquiring knowledge about self-inspection and maintenance basics for safe and convenient vehicle operation. The day also featured various activities such as quiz events and lucky draws, allowing customers to explore Audi’s particular A/S principles and specialized processes while engaging directly with the repair of Audi vehicles.

Im Hyun-ki, CEO of Audi Korea, stated, “Audi continuously pays attention to the importance of A/S service and customer needs.” He expressed, “This program, where customers could directly experience Audi’s premium service, is expected to be another great opportunity to narrow the gap between the brand and its customers.” Furthermore, he added, “We will continue to meet customer demands for service through more customer service experience events in the future.”

As of October 2023, Audi operates 40 official service centers nationwide, with 31 of them being e-tron service centers. Among these, 13 locations are capable of high-voltage battery repairs. Currently, there are 733 Electrically Instructed Persons (EIP) who have completed electric vehicle safety training, 139 High Voltage Technicians (HVT) capable of handling high-voltage systems and battery repairs, and 27 High Voltage Experts and Battery Repair Technicians (HVE) who can service all repairs and internal battery issues for e-tron vehicles. Additionally, Audi is investing in various initiatives to enhance customer service experiences, including courtesy car services, online service bookings, an integrated call center, service packages, and maintenance status notifications.
