Porsche unveiled the new Panamera Turbo Sonderwunsch model alongside the world premiere of the new Panamera in Shanghai.

The third-generation new Panamera expands the realm of personalization, a form of modern luxury, through various colors, interior designs, and details. Porsche offers the Sonderwunsch program, the highest level of bespoke manufacturing, aimed at customers with high expectations for a personal dream car. This includes consulting on colors and materials, planning, expert execution, and the model creation process. Porsche is set to introduce the unlimited options of the Sonderwunsch program at the world premiere of the new Panamera.

Detlev von Platen, a member of the Board of Management for Sales and Marketing at Porsche AG, emphasized, “Porsche customers place great importance on options that add their personal touch to the vehicle,” adding, “The Panamera Turbo Sonderwunsch, based on the Turbo E-Hybrid model, is a vision that realizes customers’ dreams.” He also noted, “The Panamera Turbo Sonderwunsch has transformed into a true one-off model through special colors, personalized design elements, and exquisite details. The exterior is designed by the Style Porsche and Porsche Exclusive Manufacture experts, while the interior is intentionally left incomplete until next year,” stating, “This vehicle will provide various inspirations to turn customers’ dreams of a special Panamera into reality.”

Porsche Exclusive Manufacture finishes the vehicle in a special two-tone color centered on Revlon Violet Metallic, featuring a chestnut color with violet undertones.

The lower part of the vehicle flows seamlessly into a solid black color, achieved through the sophisticated techniques of Style Porsche and Exclusive Manufacture experts.

The door sills and the front and rear spoiler lips are in solid black, with tinted headlights, tail lights, and windows continuing the same color, while the tailpipes are finished in a bronzite color. The clear coat of the Panamera Turbo Sonderwunsch contains actual vaporized gold particles, creating a deeper and more premium exterior appearance.

The Sonderwunsch logo on the exterior features a newly developed Avium Metallic color pinstripe pattern, and the 21-inch wheels with a central locking mechanism and side window frame are also finished in the same color. The craftsmanship and meticulous detail are clearly evident in the rear logo.

Porsche Exclusive Manufacture and Porsche Classic enhance and restore unique sports cars with skilled craftsmanship and a keen eye for detail. As part of a co-creation strategy, Porsche reinterprets the legendary Sonderwunsch program from the late 1970s. Through this program, customers can co-create and Porsche professionally manufactures a one-and-only vehicle.

The expansion of services is divided into several areas. There is the factory commissioning, where customers can request personalized colors and materials during the production phase, followed by factory re-commissioning for further customization after delivery, and the factory one-off service for customized vehicles after delivery to the customer.

If the factory re-commissioning is for personalized colors and materials, the factory one-off service focuses on systematic new technology development. Depending on the model year of the vehicle, either the Porsche Exclusive Manufacture or Porsche Classic technical expert will participate in the vehicle implementation.

The Panamera Turbo Sonderwunsch model has been created through the factory re-commissioning process according to the project procedure. Customers can request factory re-commissioning with the Sonderwunsch team at the Exclusive Manufacture department through Porsche centers. The customer vehicle is transported to the factory for custom modifications according to their requirements. Transportation and registration conditions by market are negotiated individually with the customer.
