Volvo Gangneung Showroom

Volvo Cars Korea has newly opened the Gangneung showroom and service center to reinforce its connection with customers in the Gangwon Yeongdong region and provide quality premium customer service.

The new Gangneung showroom and service center is the first of its kind in the Gangwon Yeongdong region. With a total land area of 2,925㎡ and a built-up area of 936.92㎡, it features a customer parking lot capable of accommodating up to 34 vehicles.

The Volvo Gangneung service center can handle a maximum of 250 general repairs per month and offers a one-stop service through its ‘Volvo Personal Service (VPS)’, matching technicians with customers one-on-one. Additionally, in response to the increasing demand for electric vehicles, the Gangneung showroom and service center has installed rapid chargers (DC combo) and slow chargers (AC combo) to provide the best EV charging services to customers.

The newly launched Volvo Gangneung showroom incorporates eco-friendly and sustainable elements that align with Volvo Cars’ philosophy. Utilizing an automated system with motion sensor technology, as well as solar panels and a gabled roof, the facility is designed to minimize unnecessary energy consumption and maximize energy efficiency.

To provide the best customer satisfaction services for visitors to the showroom and service center, a premium customer lounge equipped with OTT services has been established, allowing customers to relax during vehicle maintenance.

In celebration of the new opening of the Gangneung showroom and service center, Volvo Cars Korea is running a variety of promotions. Customers visiting the showroom will receive a Volvo parking license plate, and those who sign a contract will be given a Volvo fabric folding box.

Customers who take delivery through the Gangneung showroom by the end of February 2024 will be entered into a lottery to win generous prizes including Bang & Olufsen BeoSound and Samsung Air Dresser. Various prizes will also be available for customers using the service center or undertaking paid repairs, alongside tire discount sales. (Prize details are subject to change and may end early if stocks run out).

Song Kyung-ran, Executive Director of Customer Service at Volvo Cars Korea, stated, “In line with increasing sales, we have opened a new showroom and service center for customers in the Gangwon Yeongdong region. We plan to continue investing generously in expanding our service network and improving service quality to provide Volvo’s premium services anywhere in the country.”

Meanwhile, Volvo Cars Korea has consistently worked towards qualitative growth alongside quantitative growth. As a result, it achieved first place among European brands in the ‘2023 Automotive Planning Survey’ conducted by Consumer Insight in the AS satisfaction (CSI) category for four consecutive years and also first in product satisfaction (TGR) for four years in a row. With steady sales growth, the company plans to expand its service network through large-scale investments moving forward.
