‘Volvo Seosan Showroom’

Volvo Cars Korea has opened a new showroom and service center in Seosan, enhancing customer touchpoints and providing premium services to customers in the Seosan and Dangjin areas.

The Volvo Seosan showroom and service center covers a site area of 2,315㎡ (approximately 702 pyeong) and has a total floor area of 872.48㎡ (about 264 pyeong), complete with a customer parking lot that can accommodate up to 41 vehicles.

To cater to the growing demand for electric vehicle charging services, the parking lot of the Seosan showroom and service center is equipped with fast chargers (DC combo) and slow chargers (AC combo) to offer electric vehicle charging services to customers. Additionally, the Volvo Seosan service center can handle up to 250 general repairs per month, allowing for a tailored service through the ‘Volvo Personal Service (VPS)’ which pairs technicians with customers one-on-one for specialized assistance.

The newly launched Volvo Seosan showroom serves as a satellite hub to expand services for customers who have had difficulty accessing Volvo’s premium services due to geographical constraints. It incorporates the environmentally-friendly and sustainability elements that Volvo strives for. Automation systems using motion sensor technology have been applied to reduce unnecessary energy consumption, along with the installation of solar panels.

To ensure that customers visiting the showroom and service center can comfortably wait during vehicle maintenance, a premium customer lounge has been established, providing a wide range of conveniences.

To celebrate the opening of the Seosan showroom (opened on the 22nd) and service center (scheduled to open on the 26th), Volvo Cars Korea is launching diverse promotions. Customers who visit the showroom for consultations will receive a Volvo parking number plate, and those who make a contract will receive a Volvo fabric folding box as a gift.

‘Volvo Seosan Service Center’

Until the end of March 2024, customers who purchase a Volvo vehicle through the Seosan showroom will have the chance to win prizes such as Bang & Olufsen BeoSound or Samsung Air Dresser through a lottery. Additionally, customers who visit the showroom and upload posts on SNS with mandatory hashtags will receive a Volvo card pocket as a bonus. Various prizes will be provided to customers who visit the service center or carry out paid repairs. There will also be a tire discount sale. (Prize details may change, and the promotion may end early if stocks run out.)

Song Kyung-ran, Executive Director of Customer Service at Volvo Cars Korea, stated, “With the opening of the new Seosan showroom and service center, we are now able to provide differentiated brand experiences and quality services to customers in Seosan and Dangjin who have struggled with Volvo’s brand experience in the past. We plan to actively expand our network to offer Volvo’s unique brand experience and premium services anywhere in the country.”

Meanwhile, Volvo Cars Korea has recently expanded its service centers in places like Ilsan, Daejeon, and Jeonju through a significant service investment of 111 billion won, and opened a new showroom and service center in Gangneung recently. As a result of continuously investing in their service network, Volvo Cars Korea recently achieved first place among European brands in the AS satisfaction (CSI) category for four consecutive years and also secured the top position in product satisfaction (TGR) for four years running in the ‘2023 Automotive Planning Survey’ announced by the automotive research company Consumer Insight.
