Hyundai Motor Company (including Genesis) and Kia announced on Friday, January 26th, that they will be providing a special ‘Lunar New Year Free Vehicle Checkup Service’ from February 6 (Tuesday) to February 8 (Thursday) at nationwide service outlets.

The free inspection service has been established to check major components and functions of vehicles before long-distance travel during the holiday season, helping to prevent accidents and ensure customers can travel safely.

The inspection items include: ▲Oil levels ▲Air conditioning systems ▲Tire wear and air pressure ▲Brakes ▲Status of various lighting devices, with a washer fluid replenishment service also being provided. Electric vehicles will also have additional inspections on EV coolant and high-voltage batteries.

Customers wishing to take advantage of the service need to download the free inspection coupon from January 31 (Wednesday) to February 2 (Friday) via the integrated customer service applications: Hyundai Motor’s ‘My Hyundai’, Kia’s ‘My Kia’, and Genesis’ ‘My Genesis’.

After that, Hyundai customers can visit Blue Hands centers nationwide, while Kia customers can head to direct service centers or AutoQ and present their free checkup coupon to receive their vehicle inspection.
