‘Renault QM6’

Renault Korea has introduced enhanced sales conditions for customers purchasing new cars in February, offering benefits of up to 2.2 million KRW for the QM6.

The QM6 is a steady-selling model that has sold over 245,000 units by last year, featuring proven fundamentals such as quietness, driving stability, and economy, and is uniquely available with an LPG fuel option among mid-sized SUVs. To commemorate the QM6’s cumulative sales exceeding 240,000 units, Renault Korea has prepared a special benefit of 1 million KRW throughout February. When adding a maximum of 1.2 million KRW from special promotions at dealerships nationwide, the maximum benefit for the QM6 in February reaches 2.2 million KRW.

A special event for customers who purchase the QM6 to celebrate the 240,000 unit milestone will be held. A total of 240 customers who purchase the QM6 in February and March will be drawn to receive prizes such as an Apple iPad (1 winner), Paradise City accommodation vouchers (3 winners), Shinsegae gift certificates (20 winners), and Starbucks gift cards (216 winners).

The XM3, a coupe-like SUV featuring a sleek design and various advanced convenience and safety features, offers benefits of up to 1.2 million KRW based on special promotions at each dealership. The XM3 is available in three powertrain models: the XM3 TCe 260 with a 1.3L turbo gasoline engine co-developed with the Mercedes-Benz group, the XM3 1.6 GTe known for its excellent value, and the popular XM3 E-TECH hybrid that has gained traction after the declaration of hybrid democratization.

The mid-sized sedan SM6 provides a 3-year interest-free installment plan or a cash benefit of 4 million KRW, along with an additional 200,000 KRW special promotion benefit when purchasing the SM6 TCe 300, which is equipped with the same 1.8 turbo gasoline engine as the Alpine A110 model. The SM6 TCe 260 model can avail a maximum purchase benefit of 1.7 million KRW.

This year, Renault Korea has introduced a new residual value guarantee plus installment product in collaboration with Mobilize Financial Services Korea (MFSK), a financial subsidiary of the Renault Group, which offers customers the option of a lower monthly payment by deferring an additional 3% of the vehicle price compared to the existing residual value guarantee SMART product.

By purchasing the XM3 and QM6 (excluding the Quest model) through the 36-month residual value guarantee plus, customers can return their vehicles any time after one year, with a guarantee of up to 70% of the original vehicle price available when repurchasing a new car after returning the vehicle. Even on repurchase after the term, customers can receive an additional residual premium benefit that guarantees up to 7% cashback compared to the original vehicle’s residual value.

Hwang Jae-seop, executive director in charge of Renault Korea’s sales and network operations, stated, “Along with preparing for new vehicles this year, Renault Korea plans to implement brand enhancement strategies to regain momentum in the domestic market. We will create sales environments that bring us closer to customers, ensuring they can purchase Renault Korea vehicles, verified in the global market, under better benefits.”

As part of its recent brand enhancement strategy, Renault Korea opened its first integrated shopping mall showroom at Starfield Suwon. This new location applies the Renault brand’s latest global shop identity (SI) and offers the entire vehicle purchasing process, including consultation, contracts, and deliveries, as well as test drives at a test drive center within the shopping mall, along with various digital content and brand items, all in one place.
