Lotte Rental announced that it will showcase its measurement instrument rental services at the 2024 Korean Electromagnetic Wave Conference, which will be held at the ICC JEJU (Jeju International Convention Center) from the 14th to the 16th.

This academic conference is designed to promote industry-academic technology exchange and collaboration related to electromagnetic waves (radio waves), a core technology of the 4th Industrial Revolution used in fields such as 5G/6G wireless communications, space, defense, and satellites. Participants include domestic and foreign companies, institutions, and research laboratories related to electromagnetic waves.

Lotte Rental plans to set up an exhibition booth at the event venue to introduce its rental and integrated management services for equipment that can be utilized across various industries and focus on attracting new customers.

As a leading comprehensive rental company in Korea, Lotte Rental provides optimized solutions for industries such as electrical, electronics, telecommunications, and broadcasting, holding the number one market share in the measurement instrument rental sector. By building partnerships with global premium manufacturers and making continuous investments, they are leading the rapid technological adoption and trends in technology-intensive industries. Since participating in the 2023 International Maritime Defense Industry Exhibition (MADEX), they have entered the defense industry and are collaborating with various defense companies. In preparation for the 6G era, they are investing in ultra-high-frequency equipment and will showcase an extender capable of expansion up to 220GHz during the conference period.

Lotte Rental offers various options for new and used equipment considering the characteristics of the business and budget, allowing for reasonable operation of necessary measurement instruments through short-term (1 week to 12 months) and mid-to-long term (1 to 5 years) rentals. Additionally, they support remote supervision of construction processes, management assistance programs, and various automation programs capable of operating PC/Mobile automated solutions.

The cost-saving benefits through regular maintenance management services are also an advantage. If equipment malfunctions, replacement equipment is provided immediately, ensuring no work interruption and eliminating additional repair costs, allowing for stable operation within the planned budget. With regular maintenance conducted annually, data reliability can also be ensured.

Effective asset management can lead to improved financial soundness and tax reduction through rental fee processing. Flexible asset management according to business circumstances is possible with options for early return, period extension, and replacement equipment support. For corporations, it does not affect the loan limit or credit, resulting in an improved financial structure.

Lee Kang-San, Executive Director of the Biz Rental Division at Lotte Rental, stated, “Lotte Rental holds a unique position in terms of the number of measurement instruments owned, investment scale, and market share. Through this academic conference, we aim to introduce rental and integrated management services that reflect the needs of various industries in detail and strengthen collaboration with participating institutions and companies.”

Meanwhile, Lotte Rental’s Biz rental division is focusing its capabilities on industrial equipment with core rental service competencies. They aim to become the number one in industrial material rentals by 2027, not only with measurement instruments but also through the domestic introduction of world-renowned industrial equipment, such as the British JCB company, and new robotic technology.
