Tmap finally brings about a genuine all-in-one solution. The merger of Tmap and the Tmap public transport service will lead to the discontinuation of the public transport app starting from midnight on April 1.

Developed through collaboration between SK Telecom and the Seoul Transportation Corporation, the Tmap public transport app has provided real-time subway congestion information, catering to the 2 million commuters in the metropolitan area. Now, this app is being absorbed into Tmap, offering optimal routing not only for private vehicle drivers but also for public transport users.

Due to the all-in-one integration service, the subway congestion service is currently paused, and from March 2, the public transport app will no longer be available for download. Within the Tmap app, users currently receive bus and subway arrival notifications when using public transport, but once the all-in-one service is established, users can expect to access the subway and bus route services previously available in the public transport app.

According to a representative from Tmap Mobility, “We will implement the services previously used by existing users directly into Tmap,” emphasizing the all-in-one service.
