Aston Martin has unveiled three vehicles born for racing. This symbolizes the ambition to integrate motorsport technology into high-performance road cars.

Aston Martin debuted the AMR24 Formula One® challenger alongside the new Vantage at Silverstone, the historic home of British motorsport. The new Vantage is a quintessential Aston Martin sports car and the most driver-focused and fastest model in its history. Since its debut at the first World Championship Formula One® race held at Silverstone in 1950, the Vantage has been alongside the Aston Martin team for 74 years, racing in parallel with the rich history of the renowned circuit, known as the home of cutting-edge AMR technology.

The Vantage offers pure, uncompromising performance and confidence, perfectly harmonizing with Aston Martin’s ambitious contender in the 2024 FIA Formula One® World Championship. The AMR24 Formula One® challenger and the new Vantage symbolize Aston Martin’s ambition for high-performance technology and to become a leader on the track. The Aston Martin Aramco Formula One team aims to showcase even greater progress following its best-ever season in 2023, with nine podiums and 280 championship points under the excellent command of Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll.

Between the two vehicles is the Vantage GT3 racer, set to compete in the world’s most prestigious endurance races, including the 2024 Le Mans 24 Hours. Evolving from the Vantage GTE, which achieved 52 class wins and 11 world titles from 2012 to 2023, the Vantage GT3 embodies a new chapter in Aston Martin’s motorsport history, enhancing quality to become a more powerful GT racer with the latest production model.

Lawrence Stroll, Aston Martin’s Chairman, stated, “The Speed Brothers being unveiled this time injects new dynamism into our DNA. Debuting the AMR24 Formula One® challenger alongside the new Vantage and Vantage GT3 racing car on the same day at Silverstone showcases our ambition to lead in Formula One® and create the world’s best and most thrilling sports cars.” He added, “This emphasizes the growing relationship between road and race programs through the combination of exceptional engineering talent, experience, and knowledge accumulated by Aston Martin Lagonda in Formula One® and Aston Martin Performance Technology.”

He further noted, “In recent years, we’ve witnessed how Formula One® has innovatively impacted our brand, attracting new customers to Aston Martin and leading to a reevaluation of our products.” He expressed aspirations to develop high-performance motorsport technology in collaboration with the Formula One® team and maximize synergies by applying it to next-generation sports cars and endurance racing strategies.

Meanwhile, the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One® team is set to kick off the 2024 FIA Formula One® World Championship™ season at the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix on March 2, 2024.
