The shopping mall plaza is adorned with bright yellow banners and balloons. Passersby are drawn to the sleekly designed yellow sports car. The Lotus display brightens up Suwon Starfield with its vibrant colors.
On the 21st, I visited the Lotus Popup Store located in Suwon Starfield. Suwon is known for hosting major corporations like Samsung Electronics, various universities, and offices affiliated with Gyeonggi-do, making it an area with a high income level in the region. Additionally, with affluent neighborhoods close by, such as Gwanggyo and Dongtan, it is a prime target location for all automotive companies.
At the venue, the strikingly bold yellow Emira and the deep gray Eletre welcomed visitors. Behind the Eletre, a large monitor consistently displayed Lotus advertisements. The popup store is strategically situated near the escalators, attracting attention from customers coming down from the upper floors.
Customers include a young couple in their early 30s, as well as middle-aged women sitting in the driver’s seat of the deep yellow Emira, reminiscent of forsythia. They attentively listened to the detailed explanations from the sales representatives. A newlywed couple, initially hesitant and observing from outside the popup store, soon wore excited expressions as they explored the various features of the Emira sports car with the guidance of the sales staff.
A raffle event also took place. Guests spun a roulette for a chance to win various prizes, such as model cars and donut vouchers. Customers who received their desired gifts from the roulette wheel expressed their joy like children. Additionally, young children visiting with their mothers were given yellow balloons featuring the Lotus logo, making Suwon Starfield a vibrant hub of yellow.
Lotus expressed, “This event was organized to promote our brand and establish a connection at Starfield Suwon. We appreciate customers recognizing and showing interest in Lotus as they move through the shopping mall.”
The Lotus Popup Store at Starfield Suwon will run until the 27th.
